New Year and Celebrations all around...

As we rolled in to the New Year, My husband and I was praying about the direction for our family and our school day. The Lord led my husband to begin the bible cover to cover reading and while he is working, during our school day we will begin New Testament studying each morning and in the evenings we will all gather at the table before bedtime to begin reading the bible cover to cover and ending with prayer.

I tell you I am so excited about this year. I honestly could not sleep last night for all the excitement in my spirit. So I stayed up giggling and praying enjoying the Lords company. To some that may sound crazy, and that is ok. I enjoy being in the presence of the Lord and I enjoy sharing some of it. :)

I truly believe this year is going to be an exciting year for All of God's Children, No matter where you are or what you are going through. This year is truly going to be an exciting year for our family in general and our church family as well. Alot of exciting things have been happening leading up to this year and carrying over to what is the beginning of greater things to come.

Briefly I want to tell you about our church. I have talked vaguly about our church. We started gathering a little over a year ago in a Hotel and we are now in our own church building and growing. Many of my followers have heard me speak about the church we originated from and heart breaks and the merging to a "seeker friendly" (purpose driven) church. I have shared much in the past about this. Praise God a prophetic word was spoken about 12 years ago and today we are walking in that word given with the Pastor spoken of.. We are now at a Word of Faith church, grounded in the Lord, Inspired by His words and stepping out in our Faith in Him giving, believing and receiving unto Him. Praise God! Our church started out with 18 and has now been averaging around 50+ give or take each week. Our children's ministries are underway and growing fast. The church we purchased needed a major facelift which it recieved all from the Hand of God. Things we needed for the church were either given, donated or purchased at bargain deals all because of The Lord's favor. I am talking things from heating systems, attachments, some awesome media deals, a whole lighting unit to put in our downstairs class areas, cabinets for our kitchen and really so much more. All of this at the hand of the Father in just over a year. Praise God..

When he gives you a vision, HOLD ON to that vision and wait to see it through. It may not happen over night but it will come to pass. Walk out in Faith, Trusting Him and be watching, be ready and expect Him to show up. The Lord will always appear when we walk out expecting. Speak His word daily over your life and your family. Speak His word of your daily trials and bless the triumphs. Speak the very blessings over your life, your family and others, the very blessings that are spoken to you in Gods Word.

I encourage you today, walk out expecting Him to show up. No matter what situations you are faced with today, Thank God for everything that comes your way, every person that crosses your path. Bless them no matter how frustrating they may make you. Bless them and encourage them as well as bless yourself and encourage yourself. Leave post it notes up or index cards to remind yourself of scripture. Read scripture daily and above all, if you are given a vision Thank God for that vision and try to make it visual so you are reminded of the vision He gave you daily.

The Lord told me to begin expecting our House, I had specifics that He shared with me. We have a great house and have had this house for about 8 years now, I Thank Him for this house. Our family has out grown this house but it is still our house and He has provided for us daily in this House. I Thank Him daily for this house and I also Thank Him daily for the House that we are recieving and all the specifics with it.

If you were told to expect a specific job situtation, Begin Thanking Him for the current job situation, speak blessings and pray blessings over your current job situation, over the leader or boss of this current job situation and then begin Thanking Him for the job He is bringing to you. Thank Him for the specifics He has shared with you. Speak the Word of God in to your life, your circumstances and bring forth praise for these things He is bestowed over you, your life, your spouse, your family, your job and so on.

A Special "Thank You" TO: My Followers

To all my faithful followers, readers and subscribers: I just felt I needed to say, "Thank You" to each of you. You have blessed me this year in more ways then one. I took a break for a while and came back to post you with the latest in Growth and encouragers that I have. Although I am not on still as often as before I will continue you to update here on the blog but not as often as I am trying to focus more on family now. (I aim to post near our weekends (Thur eve- Sat) I hope. I may be on more or less, we will play all by ear and see where the Lord leads. :)

I feel I must note that for me, blogging is this: It is not about the followers you gain but it IS about the people you have reached and the people you are helping.

I am excited about the new year and all it will bring. I believe God is going to be even more amazing this coming year and I can not wait to walk with him. I hope you will continue to join me on this journey. :)

Thank you to all of you again, those of you who wisp in so quietly and off, those of you that stop in for a chat and spread the word. You are highly valued and greatly appreciated. May God Bless you and your family through this holiday season and may each of you be safe.

Jeremiah 29:1-23

A Letter to the Exiles

Jeremiah wrote a letter from Jerusalem to the elders, priests, prophets, and all the people who had been exiled to Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar. 2 This was after King Jehoiachin,[a] the queen mother, the court officials, the other officials of Judah, and all the craftsmen and artisans had been deported from Jerusalem. 3 He sent the letter with Elasah son of Shaphan and Gemariah son of Hilkiah when they went to Babylon as King Zedekiah’s ambassadors to Nebuchadnezzar. This is what Jeremiah’s letter said:
4 This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says to all the captives he has exiled to Babylon from Jerusalem: 5 “Build homes, and plan to stay. Plant gardens, and eat the food they produce. 6 Marry and have children. Then find spouses for them so that you may have many grandchildren. Multiply! Do not dwindle away! 7 And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”
8 This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says: “Do not let your prophets and fortune-tellers who are with you in the land of Babylon trick you. Do not listen to their dreams, 9 because they are telling you lies in my name. I have not sent them,” says the Lord.
10 This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”

15 You claim that the Lord has raised up prophets for you in Babylon. 16 But this is what the Lord says about the king who sits on David’s throne and all those still living here in Jerusalem—your relatives who were not exiled to Babylon. 17 This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: “I will send war, famine, and disease upon them and make them like bad figs, too rotten to eat. 18 Yes, I will pursue them with war, famine, and disease, and I will scatter them around the world. In every nation where I send them, I will make them an object of damnation, horror, contempt, and mockery. 19 For they refuse to listen to me, though I have spoken to them repeatedly through the prophets I sent. And you who are in exile have not listened either,” says the Lord.

20 Therefore, listen to this message from the Lord, all you captives there in Babylon. 21 This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says about your prophets—Ahab son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah son of Maaseiah—who are telling you lies in my name: “I will turn them over to Nebuchadnezzar for execution before your eyes. 22 Their terrible fate will become proverbial, so that the Judean exiles will curse someone by saying, ‘May the Lord make you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon burned alive!’ 23 For these men have done terrible things among my people. They have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives and have lied in my name, saying things I did not command. I am a witness to this. I, the Lord, have spoken.”

Exodus 20:2-3 “I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery. “You must not have any other god but me.

As I went over to read a chapter the was on my heart the pages got stuck and I began reading the chapter I thought I was heading over to read. I didnt notice until after I read the chapter a short sometime later, that infact it was not the chapter I was heading over to read, instead it was a few chapters before. In posting this post, I want to ask this question: When you read the above scripture what first entered your mind, if anything? Just think about that for a second.

When reading this chapter, I will be honest in saying that as I read this my thoughts immediately went from the scripture to things that we are seeing around us today. I will go ahead and note what I seen, I also want to note, that if this slaps you in the face or brings offense, I do apologize. I am not out to attack anyone by no means nor will I make my post on pleasing anyone of this world. The purpose of this post is to state the word and relate it to things of today. It is truth and much fact behind it anyone can see with all that is in the world. So if your offended you took this post somewhere it was not intended.

There are many things happening today that we can relate to scripture. Dont you agree? There are several things I can relate this scripture to for today. Here are my thoughts: (Some will probably touch a nerve)

We (USA - and other countries to, but more the U.S) are a spoiled nation. We are not content with anything and always have to have everything. When a new upgrade of most anything - come out, immediately we drop and run get the newest or lastest version of computer, ipad, ipod, iphone or cell phone in general, vehichle and etc. Thus, teaching these traits on to the children of the upcoming generation. Not to mention the lack of parenting today by many. Yes there are some good parents out there but much of the parents today let their kids run the show because they dont want to hurt their kids feelings or they are too busy trying to be the coolest parent or doped up on drugs and alcohol. (sad to) Really in most cases; To be anyone you have to have everything and it must be the best of the best and latest in technology or your picked over as we see in the Job industry. Not to mention there always appears to be somewhat of a competition to see who can get there first or have this first. Thus also in the housing industry in some cases. We can also take a look at our government and the out of control spending. They dont know how to balance a budget but they can force the american people on one. Do you think they want to stop spending the tax payers money? Would you want to stop spending someone elses money if you have millions, billions heck we are in trillions at that!? If you disagree your as blind as bat. (No Offense) Bottom line, Much of this relates to GOTTA HAVE IT! But do we really have to have these things? Necessity vs Wants!
One of the biggest, well all of these are big, but one thing I see alot today is the Dependant on Goverment aid. Too many rely on Government aid to take care of them. (This excludes those who lost their jobs to the economy. Those people are and were hard workers that honestly messed over by poor decisions and bad leadership) Much of the younger genreation and some of the older genration of folks would rather depend on the Government to assist them and care for them rather then them work hard to care for themself. Yes I aim for the word LAZIENESS! So many are lazy and would rather the Government care for them which is why we have such a corrupted government. Some rather abuse situtations rather then make it better. To the younger generation of dependants, learn from the older generations. Work hard and save your money, make wise spendings and save for your future. The government will promise all they can as long as you support them, in the end, your the one with nothing and the government sits on your cushion because you believed every phony lie they gave you! (look at todays economy and all the politicians including the man who claims role of presidency! How many white lies were spoken to get the elected vote? What have they done since their election? enough said!
We are a people with no value on life. Everyone is in a Hurry to get NO where! Young people should rememeber that noted phrase in bold, as it will save your life! Principles and beliefs are merely a thing of the past and in most families are not carried over. (Lord bless the few who do carry them over) We are a people who think if a person is broken we must chuck them out to the trash and run for a replacement each time - instead of picking up the pieces and trying to fix things and resolve the relationships. (Friendships, Family and all relationships leading up to the Marital Relationships are broken they are not strong and their foundations are not solid. Divorces prove this as they are on the rise, I will also note a touchy subject and I mean no disrespect, but in most cases today it has been stated the reason homosexuality exhists and as big today, is because a person of the same sex was felt they would better assist the needs of that gender rather then one of the opposite sex. People are to afraid to do what is right, To Blind and alot just flat out dont care. They just want more and if one person can not fulfill their need instead of trying or working out the problem pawning off the first is the solution and finding a next. Your right on one thing Mr Obama, Times have changed and more and more people today just flat out dont care! - What ever happened to Fighting for what was RIGHT! ( This is Deception Lurking amidst the people today and creates things like this and it is so very sad)
Working in todays world is all about the person and the profit, no more is about the people. How much more can I milk this person or that person for? Who can get rich the fastest? Who cares about the people, how fast can I take everything they have? The mindset of todays people is all about ME ME ME and What else can I get from the people! We see this so much in the Government. Folks, If your ok with Big Government be prepared to lose all you have and dont cry about it when its gone if your going to allow it!
The church has allowed false doctrination, false teaching and deception in to the body of Christ. Today so many churches are falling astray rather then drawing closer to God. Why? The push for one world merge in religion is the biggest reason. Today, if you talk about Christ and Christianity you are ridiculed and in most countries murdered. But if you talk about Allah, Budduh or anyother religion it is ok. Did you know the UN was trying to get the USA to agree to a law of blasphemy for Islam? Its true. Thank God Hilary Clinton had the common sense to say NO we are country that believes in Freedom of Speech. What would happen if the US took agreement on the blasphemy law, Well talk against an islam and you would be murdered or severely punished. What about the Christian believer? The issue is not the believer itself, its the religion that is under the attack. I dont think it is right nor would I cut down the belief of another believer for lack of intelligence. The bible is clear and precisely to the point you do not cast judgement over another no matter how ignorant they are! I would not cast the stone on an Islamic worshipper, so why are they quick to cast the stone on a christian believer? If they offer peace why is there war? Again I note not attacking just stating truth and tossing a question amidst it. My God offers Peace and He is the Judge. Its not my way or the high way as it seems to be in some of these radical religions today. But most of all religion is the one under attack not the believer unless you refuse to merge! If you disagree that is your oppinion
What was once a country UNDER GOD is now a country fighting to keep a float. To many today walk around believing the latest trend that they are mini Gods and that the Almighty God does not exist! May God open the eyes of these poor lost followers!

THOUGHT to think on: merely an other point to make - The average american today, including believers: Are so busy in their day to include God. Working as many hours as they can is priority in America, Everyone is always trying to get ahead of someone or for something. $$$$.(hear the chachings, Money Money Money) (yes there are cases where people are trying to get ahead to get bills current for struggling to make ends meet. (Matthew 6: 19-34)

Let us not forget the hobbies and how they have consumed the average student today. (Including Believers) Honestly, how many can say that there is nothing consuming their day and that they have all the time in their day to make room for God. Between work, sports and other academics and fulfilling our wants we are so busy trying to provide for our self, do for our self, excel for our self that we do not even let God in or have any control. Let me put it bluntly, Believer or Non Believer, You will never excel doing for yourself. Working all those long hours for your job, putting in all the swet for your academics_sports will get you some place sure, But it will not get you to the place God has for you! His place is far greater then the place you excel to. Simply put, God MUST BE First! If He wants you to have this or that, He will give it to you in HIS timing. If He wants you in this academic or sport HE will get you there in HIS timing. If your killing yourself to get there your not putting HIM first! I have seen some around me doing several of these points made: Extras hours = more $$$, Families pushing sports or academics and are so caught up in the sport or academic they are always on the GO! One in particular pushes to be the best no exception. When I look at how it has changed their whole family because of the Love of the Sport it breaks my heart. Good strong and God fearing family tranformed by the sport. That wouldnt of happened if God was put first. We can all say oh I put God first but it honestly shows if you do or do not!

I could continue on but the main point of this post is right now God is calling All who will listen back to Him. In the bold print above you can see where some of my points reference. You can also see highlighted text of words from the Father. I truly believe much of these promises will be fulfilled after the rapture, But I also believe we will see the signs and some of these things may begin to fall in to line leading up to the rapture. The bible says, No Man knows the Day or Hour but God,

(Matthew 24:³⁶ “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself.^[k] Only the Father knows.)

The Bible also says, through out: Acts, Matthew, Revelations and various other books of the bible, "Though no man no the day or hour, signs will appear and all who know the Lord will know the time is near."

Believer, If these scriptures today don't get your mind thinking on what exactly is going on around us, I honestly don't know what else can be said. I urge you to get in to the Word of God. Meditate on the Bible daily. Be in prayer and have that relationship with the Lord. Things here on this earth are getting crazy by the minute and its about to get even more crazier. I urge you now: Don't take words at face value. Instead look things up in the Bible if your not sure and go from there. If you are one of these that attend a church and just sit in the congregation with out reading your word, with out knowing your word just listening to the words the pastor brings forth and leaving from there taking his or her words at face value with out even checking the bible to see IF indeed that is what it says, Your one who is walking with a near by friend called deception. All need to be grounded on the Word of God, All should be ready to stand up for the Truth when the time comes, even if it may be addressing false doctrin within the church.

Gods word is clear, it is TRUTH and all who walk in the Truth will BE SAVED! Don't take words of others at Face Value. How will you know if it is Gods word if your not in Gods Word? Its time to get in to the word of God and find the truth. I assure you, there will be peace around you when you seek the truth in Him.

Mighty to Save

For about a week, this song has been in my thoughts. I have sang it around the house, woke up with it several mornings in my spirit. In the last several months my spirit has been shaken by the Lord and Grieved in few areas but rejoiceful for all that is coming from the Lord. The scriptures that He has shared with me, some that He shared through our church and some scriptures through or for others.

I believe there is such an urgency for the church to hear the call from the Lord "To Awaken out of Slumber, To Rise up and Hear the voice of the Lord." So many churches are falling today with so much deception. As a result of the falling churches sweeping not just across the nation but even globally in other places, Leaders are falling from their job, congregations are falling apart, sinners come in expecting redemption only to find that they are getting more of the same old stuff that was offered within the secular world. The evidence of Christ within most churches is null. My spirit weigh heavy over those falling to the deception sweeping through the church today.

We need a radical move of God to sweep over our nation and spead world wide. But before we can have such a radical move of God, We must get the Truth out, we must bow before our Lord and repent for all things we have brought before Him that are not of Him. We must repent of our sins and surrender our lives to Him.

I ask you believer, How can we expect God to pour out His spirit in our life, within our church, through out this world, IF we will not accept Him His Ways, His Truth, His Word to be apart of our everyday lives and to be apart of our church. This IS NOT about Religion! This is about a relationship with Jesus Christ! Right now, I ask you, for a moment to yourself can you answer this question Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? I'm not asking do you go to church, I am asking, Do you personally Know, walk and talk with Jesus daily?

Believer, I don't know where you are or what you are going through. But there IS one who does. He knows everything about you and all that concerns you. Everything you are concerned with, He is concerned with. He loves you so much that He came here to this Earth to bring you the greatest gift of all. Eternal life in Him. Jesus Christ IS the GREATEST STORY ever told by any man. Please don't be fooled by these false sermons, false prophecies, false stories about the Jesus who shed His blood for you. Jesus Christ DID die on the cross, He did rise again and is now seated on the Throne of God.

Believer, today, I ask you, When was the last time you picked up Gods word and read it? I don't ask you to convict you. I ask you to show you, If you do not Know Gods Word, You will likely be decieved by the very one who is coming to destroy you. I urge you to get grounded into the Word of God. The Word is your weapon, It is Loaded With TRUTH. The BIBLE Is: The Living Word of God. It is the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever!

Hebrews 13:⁸ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

(AMP)2 Timothy 3:16-17 Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
He Is the King of All Kings & Lord of All Lords! He Is the Life and Ressurection! The Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and The Ending! He Is the Great I Am.
Today there is such a burden to ensure that all know that Jesus truly is the son of God.

Revelations 17:¹³ These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. ¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

John 11:²⁵ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. ²⁶ And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Today, If your church is preaching a message other then Gods Living Word, You need to seek immediate direction from the God of All Gods. Get out of that deception being taught, It's all Hog Wash! Jesus Christ came to share the Gospel to all that would recieve him.

John 1: (also vs 1-9) ¹⁰ He (Jesus) came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. ¹¹ He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. ¹² But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. ¹³ They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

I believe tonight this song is the Lords way of reminding me as well as others that will listen and hear HIS voice calling out, Our Saviour, Jesus Christ, Is Mighty. He can MOVE any Mountain that stands in your way. He can CALM every Storm that comes your way. No matter what the circumstance is there is NOTHING to Big that our Lord and Father can not handle. He IS the One True Messiah!

Tonight, I encourage you that as you wind down your evening and prepare for all the tomorrows to come, Walk In The Peace of Jesus Christ and Allow Him to lead you every step of the way.

Parental Rights.org and HSLDA is asking that all bloggers, emailers, networkers pass this along. This video has been previously posted and has now been edited with new information added in to this video. So the old link will not work. Please use this feed and pass this along.

This is not a laughing matter, it is more serious then you or any other may realize. People can snicker about this all they want, but if they are not doing the search themselves to see its truth behind it they will be the ones that cost parents everywhere rights over our family. So please see to it that this is passed along to everyone you may know. There is a bill right now in the house being reviewed. If it passes it will changed everything parent rights stands for. If you have not heard in the lastest news, there is alread several cases in the courts and scheduled to meet in the next few months to decide whether parents have rights over their children. Recently posted is the case in Michigan where HSLDA's chairman Mike Farris felt it important to help assist a non homeschool family. This is a big deal, please help get this word to every parent and expecting parent even grandparents.

Following the posts recently made on attack of parental rights, I wanted to share this with everyone. Listen folks, parental rights are under attack more then you know. It is not just on the medical stand point. This is all over. From vaccinations, to education, religion and medical. If parents do not stand up and take a stand to STOP this before it is too late. Before we know it, Parental Rights will be no more. I dont know about you, but, God blessed me with the gift and bringing these precious children in to the world, I do not intend to allow some control nut politician, doctor, nor the President himself to tell me how to raise my children to what they believe is best when their way is sheer ignorance and stupidity. Our family is OUR responisibility, not anyone elses. Its time to unite and come together and fight for our childrens future. Its what our ancestors did for us and its high time citizens gain backbone and take back the country that which our ancestors formed for us!

Might I add, Watch every medical related commercial on TV. These medicines they give even if they are FDA approved, ALL have side effects. These medicines are not a healer, they are a soother to ease your symptoms none other. A midst soothing your symptoms they create other issues and symptoms that have to be soothed by other medicines. It is all a scam to get the money of consumers none other. God gives you the medicine you need, read your bible he tells you what foods to eat, what foods help releive or prevent things to come. We just choose to take the word of a human over the Living Word Of God. Sad... Really, Enough Said!

BREAKING: Farris defends major parental rights case (medical decisions) in Michigan

Dear HSLDA Members and Friends,

Who should make very difficult decisions for children? Parents or doctors?

In March of this year, 8-year-old Jacob Stieler was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a dangerous bone cancer. His parents took him to a highly-rated children’s oncology center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Jacob had surgery to remove the tumor, which was followed by several rounds of chemotherapy. The treatment was incredibly difficult, and Jacob’s mom, Erin, told me that when she looked her son in the eyes, she knew in her heart that he simply could not survive many more rounds of these drugs.

Erin and Ken, Jacob’s mom and dad, joined by hundreds of others, prayed for Jacob and his complete recovery. After all of these rounds of chemotherapy were completed, there was a PET scan done to check on the status of the cancer. There was no evidence of cancer detected in Jacob’s body. Jacob’s family and friends rejoiced in his healing—praising God for this wonderful outcome.

But the doctors wanted to give Jacob several more rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, despite the clean PET scan. When asked why they wanted to keep giving Jacob these incredibly dangerous drugs, the doctors replied that this was “the standard of care” for his illness. Jacob’s parents begged the doctors to make an individual diagnosis, rather than simply following unbending standards. But the doctors were steadfast. All children with this cancer needed multiple rounds of these drugs—regardless of PET scan results, the doctors contended.

Jacob’s parents did extensive study of the side effects of the five different chemotherapy drugs that the doctor wanted to administer. And they believed that the risk of the drugs was far greater than the risk of recurrent cancer, since Jacob had a clean PET scan. They said no to the doctors. No more chemotherapy treatment for now. But the doctors would not take no for an answer. They called child protective services in Jacob’s county and asked the agency to file charges against the family for medical neglect.

(HSLDA Chairman, Mike Farris notes: "I could not sit on the sidelines and watch this family be overrun and parental rights be trashed by well-meaning but overzealous doctors" )

After looking into the matter, both the local CPS agency and the local prosecuting attorney refused to file charges. They believed that the parents were making reasonable decisions for Jacob.
The doctors still would not take no for an answer. They called higher authorities in the state level CPS agency. The doctors had to make several calls before they finally found someone who would agree with them. As a result of all of these calls, the local CPS agency was pressured into filing medical neglect charges against the parents.

The local prosecutor still refused to take a case against the family, so the state level CPS officials hired an independent private lawyer to serve as the prosecutor against Ken and Erin Stieler.
A jury trial is scheduled for early January to determine if the doctors will be given the authority to take over the medical decision-making for Jacob.

When I (Mike Farris) heard about this case—and checked out the facts—I knew that I could not sit on the sidelines and watch this family be overrun and parental rights be trashed by well-meaning but overzealous doctors. I recently flew to Michigan and took the depositions of all three doctors who were scheduled to testify against the family.

Jacob’s treating physician is the key.

I prepared for the depositions by obtaining copies of the official “package inserts” that the FDA requires all drug companies to give to physicians and patients. Undoubtedly, you have seen these inserts when you have picked up prescriptions for your children.

The inserts tell you several things:

Indicated uses—that is a list of the diseases for which there is evidence that the drug is a safe and effective treatment.
Warnings—these are strong cautions that indicate serious potential issues.
Side effects—these disclose all of the potential consequences that arise from taking the drug.
Approved for children—there is a specific disclaimer on many drugs that indicate whether the drugs have been proven to be safe and effective for children.

“Have all of these drugs been approved by the FDA as safe and effective for children?” I asked Jacob’s treating oncologist. “Yes,” she replied, they have been FDA-approved for children.

According to the official package inserts that we were able to obtain, she is just flat wrong. She wanted to continue to give Ifosfamide to Jacob. The FDA disclosure for this drug says: “Pediatric Use: Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established.” The oncologist wanted to give Jacob a weeks’ worth of Etoposide. The FDA disclosure says: “Pediatric Use: Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established.”

The warning on the drug Doxorubicin says: “Pediatric patients are at increased risk for developing delayed cardiotoxicity.” This means that the drug can cause severe harm to a child’s heart—at even higher rates than it can in adults. In fact, as it turned out, the treating doctor had never even seen, much less read, these official FDA-required package inserts. She did state that she had seen similar information from other sources.

Most of the drugs did not list Jacob’s form of cancer as an “indicated use.” This means that these drugs had not been tested and validated as safe and effective for this particular kind of cancer—even for adults, much less for children.

And then we get to the official warnings and side effects:

In addition to the strong warnings about “congestive heart failure” from Doxorubicin, other drugs the doctor wanted to give were known to have caused cancer—new forms of cancer—in patients being treated for an original cancer. Vincristine’s label is typical of these warnings: “Patients who received chemotherapy with vinchristine sulfate in combination with anticancer drugs known to be carcinogenic have developed second malignancies.” The warning labels say that sometimes these second cancers develop years after the treatment.

All five of the drugs that the doctors want to give Jacob are either known to cause other cancers or have not been fully tested.

Some of the other side effects for these drugs include:

Damage to the cranial motor nerves
Serious infections
Failure of boys to sexually mature
The inability to father children
Anorexia

It would take pages to recite all of the warnings and side effects!

Parental rights are increasingly being lost in the medical arena. I am beginning to wonder why physicians even bother asking for parental consent if they will just do an end run around the parents whenever it is convenient for them to do so.

This is not an easy case. It is not a case where a child has a current illness and the treatment is tested and proven to be safe and effective—those cases are easily resolved. The best evidence is that Jacob no longer has objective evidence of cancer. And not a single drug that the doctors want to give Jacob is FDA-approved for children for his kind of cancer.

This is a case where there must be a judgment call—a balancing of risks.

Who makes that call?

The doctor told me during the deposition that she thinks that she should make the call—for every child in this situation. And she would give the same answer every time, rather than making an individual judgment. I can’t imagine a more clear case of the need for parental rights. This is a decision that requires the wisdom of God.

HSLDA was established to defend parental rights in the context of homeschooling. But the assault on parental rights comes to us on many fronts. Our nation was founded upon the traditions of Western Civilization. This civilization was founded on the principles of the Word of God. God gives children to parents—not to the state, and not to doctors. In cases like this one, our legal system must remain steadfast in following the principle that God has delegated these kinds of decisions to parents, not to doctors, social workers, or courts.

Amazed....

I wake up singing this song this am. My spirit continues to be in Awe of God. I can not deny, I am truly amazed at this wonderous God I serve. How often do you wake up or through out the day, Notice how amazing God truly is? Circumstancial or just something through out the day he has done or reminded you of. He sent His only son for you and me, There is no greater love then this.

I remember a concert I went to last summer. I think I posted about it here on the blog. I went to see Chris Tomlin and Mr. Toby Mac. :) Loved the concert. But what I remember most was this, Being outside under the sky worshiping my Heavenly Father. The day started out over cast with spirts of the sun, by evening and concert time, God was moving out the remaining clouds so that we could have a beautiful sun set, clear bright evening sky. That was one of the best times of worship I can remember. We have a lot of good worship time to. But this one was the best. Honestly, there is nothing like worshiping outside under a beautiful sky, looking up in to the Fathers eye. I remember thinking that night and there after, My Father is so truly amazing. I am truly blessed to be loved by a gracious God. Every sunrise, every sunset and even just the beauty through our days, I look up and Thank God for all He does in my life, our family and just here on this earth. We are so blessed and some of us just don't even know how much!

So today, as you hear this song, I encourage you to look around and notice all the great things our Father has done and is doing around you. Recognize them and Thank Him for all of them.

Is Your Church Purpose Driven? How Can You Tell?

To Note: 2 Timothy 3: ¹⁶ All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. (If you dont read your Bible, Its time to start reading God's Living Word)

You have read my arguments here on the blog about Seeker Friendly. You have also read my post to see I flat out called it WRONG and UnBiblical. That is all TRUE and Those who know and read the bible, would also agree or would they? I would certainly hope so.. :) Even some who know the word of God can fall to the deception that is out to get them. I have seen this happen. This is why it is important to not only know and stay in Gods Word, but diligently seek after him. Pray about everything. He has all the answers and will give you the answers. So, how do you know if your church is purpose driven?

Well, I hope this will help you. I wanted to share this pamphlet I got from Jack Van Impe Ministries along with one of the DVD's (Select Catalog to View) I ordered to help those around me better understand the new merge to SEEKER FRIENDLY and Chrislam. Both of which ARE NOT of God or BIBLICALLY Supported and DO take you away from Gods Word only to teach you to believe Mans Word as well as teach you that Jesus is a liar and came back to earth to worship ALLAH! SO WRONG! So please, be cautious when searching a church to attend. Know all you can about that church. Ask questions about the church, leadership, beliefs and directions of that church. Most of all PRAY about that church and wait for your answer. I will say, I do recommend both of JVI Ministry DVD's (Select Catalog To View) covering this topic. As I post the information, I will honestly tell you, I been through this and as I read this pamphlet, my jaw drops everytime. I didnt know what it was then, but I did learn more over the years about it and now I am more alert for this move...

Is Your Church Going Purpose Driven? How can you tell?
In the past 10 years a large % of churches in America, and in other countries, have changed from a traditional to a contemporary Purpose Driven model, many with sorroful results. Now, Millions are leaving the churches after the changes have occured. Every church member needs to know if their church is targeted for the Purpose Driven takeover.

How this works: The pastor or new pastor and a small clique of church staff have plans or plan to make the change without telling the rest of the church membership. (This sounds familiar..)

Church transitions: An associate of Saddleback Church in California trains the clique initiating the change in eight published steps. And... The church membership IS NOT to be informed until the fourth step! (Say what...) After the sixth step, if there are some in the church who voice concerns, the following is suggested: ( O Lord, I sooo remember these, Yup! I voiced!)

Identify those who are resisting the changes
Assess the effectiveness of their opposition
Befriend those who are undecided about the changes
Marginalize more persistent resisters
Vilify those who stay and fight
Establish new rules that will silence all resistance (Yup... and He did)

What does all of this mean? YOU ARE NOT TOLD UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE! Accept it or leave the church. ( I could add what I was told, But I wont!) Rick Warren is the Author of Purpose Driven. While some PDC initiators do not initiate all at once the full PDC format, Generally these are the signs to indicate your church is heading that way.

What is the PDC format? ( I will list the top 13, but you will need to view the full PDC format by click the linked sections above.)

Change of Music to Contemporary Rock Style (I will say, Some contemporary music more worshipful is excluded as, worship contemporary has been in the church for a long time.)
Removal of Hymn Books, Eliminating the Choir ( I so loved choir, Singing some of the Hymns, who would want to eliminate all of the hymns?)
Replacement of Organ and Piano with Heavy Metal Instruments (Again this falls in line with Contemporary Music. I do not believe all Contemporary Music falls in this category - Thats my personal belief and I belief the Lord would convict me if I was wrong and I have not been led otherwise I think we all need to be careful of latching on to a religious spirit. While I do agree with much of these, I do believe some might be a bit to religous. I will explain more below this section.)
Repetitive singing of praise lyrics
Dressing Down to Casual Attire (While I believe dress attire is not as big of a concerns as this is made, I do believe that dressing conservatively is a must. Showing of bodily parts or tight clothing really is unnecessary and wrong. However, I will say that whether we dress up or dress conservative casual does not matter. We are accepted as we are, The Father is not concerned about your outfit as much as He is your soul! )
Eliminating of business meetings, church committees, council of elders, board of deacons, etc.
The pastor, or new leader with a few assistants, usually four, takes charge of all church business.
A repetitive 40 Day Purpose Driven Church Study program stressing psychological relationships with each other, the community, or the world begins.
Funded budgeted programs are abandoned, or ignored, with ambiguous financial reports made.
Sunday morning, evening, and or Wednesday prayer meetings are changed to other times; some may even be eliminated.
Sunday school teachers are moved to different classes, or replaced by new teachers more sympathetic with the changes being implemented.
The name "Sunday School" is dropped and classes are given new names
Crosses and other traditional Christian Symbols may be moved from both the inside and outside of the church building. The pulpit may also be moved.

I can honestly say, I have seen one or more of the above and others noted on the format done. If I wanted to go really deep in to this, I could tell you all I was told for resisting this new change, But... I will not! :) You can ask me sometime if you like.

Now one thing I did want to specify is the religous spirit. Boy that can be dangerous if we allow ourself to get consumed by religous spirits. (been here to) Just because you go to church that does not make you religious.

So lets look at how Religious Spirits are defined briefly: a.) It acutally can be defined several ways; a group of evil spirits which inspire loyalty to religious concepts and practices in such a way as to oppose and possibly to counterfeit the true work of the Holy Spirit. b.) (mindset) seeks to substitute religious activity for the power of the Holy Spirit and the grace of God in the believer’s life. Cultivated, Intimidating.     ... ( could probably go on) ...

James 1:26-27 If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.

So just to clarify, though I do believe the above format to be 99% true, I do believe that it is not specified clearly and in some cases may be more strict then to what I believe Gods Word says. To clarify, I do not believe ALL Contemporary worship should be included in with the change of music at these churches. Much of the Contemporary is Worship and some with added Rock Worship. I do believe we should be careful what types of music we do listen to as it can be displeasing to the Lord. That is where you need to seek the Lord for direction over that area. I also believe the restricting of instruments may be going a bit too far. It is not about the instrument itself, but HOW the instrument is played with in the church and out. Take a look at Psalm 150:1-6.

Psalm 150: 1-6 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heaven! 2 Praise him for his mighty works; praise his unequaled greatness! Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise him with the lyre and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes! Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!

Again, I do not believe its right to oust every instrument just because the secular world uses it. It is not the instrument, It is how the instrument is played!

Right quickly, somethings I wanted to point out from Mr. Van Impe to also help you as you get educated about this new trend. First of all, notice the scripture at the top of this post. 2 Timothy 3:16. ALL scripture IS God Breathed! Not man spoken, but God breathed! So it is extremely important you know what Gods Living Word says by reading your bible daily, even if it is just for 10 minutes a day! Dont forget, Pray and seek a relationship with the Lord.

Mr Van Impe notes: Along with the push to Purpose Driven, we should error on caution. When you are selecting a bible, Stick with the VERSION bibles. Why? There are version bibles which are bibles that come from a group of believers that Agreed the Hebrew/Greek Word is indeed Gods Word. Then there are Paraphrase Bibles, Which is a bible made up from ONE mans beliefs, views of the text, Inner thoughts about what scriptures says to him. (In other words, Man Made, Man Spoken Bibles!

Few example of a paraphrase bible: The Message Bible, The Living Bible. Some scriptures may be put better then other translations but keep in mind, these bibles are Man Spoken, Man Wrote.

Malachi 3:⁷ Ever since the days of your ancestors, you have scorned my decrees and failed to obey them. Now return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

Another thing He notes and I want to note this here also. While we are seeing this push to merge the church, Purpose Driven. There is another push everyone needs to be aware of. That is to merge Christianity with Islam. Hense - Chrislam. The rise of Chrislam is moving across the world. Mr. Van Impe urges believers and non believers to understand what in fact Chrislam really is. (Which is what both of his DVD's (Select Catalog To View) discuss.)

How Mr. Van Impe explained Chrislam is this: Muslims love Jesus because they believe Jesus came back to earth and admitted that He lied to all believers. That He did not die on the cross, but, someone died in his place. They believe Jesus admits, He was sent to earth to serve ALLAH! They speak peace and happieness living in harmony. Pushing this merge of Christianity to Islam calling it Chrislam serving ONLY Allah.

THIS IS NOT TRUE! Read Gods Living Word! Please, Get in the word and seek TRUTH!

If Islam truly is a religion of PEACE, Why are there so many Islamic Radicals murdering innocent people, causing wars, promoting suicide bombers all IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, Because ALLAH told them to do it?!

Does this sound like PEACE, HAPPIENESS, LIVING IN HARMONY? Lets truly think about this a moment! Gods Word is The Only Living Word, proclaims TRUTH. GOD is LOVE. NOT Allah!   Allah IS Hate, Hurt, Destruction... Remember 9/11.

Jesus IS God's Son, Jesus DID die on the Cross, Jesus WAS resurrected, Jesus IS seated on the Throne, at the right hand of God. Jesus IS coming back to recieve a spotless church. Jesus DID NOT LIE, HE was NOT SENT to serve ALLAH..

Lastly, to make clear this final part: The message of Christ IS "LOVE."

Matthew 5:⁴⁴ But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!

Gods Message is LOVE: 1 Corinthians 13:⁴ Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud ⁵ or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. ⁶ It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. ⁷ Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

We as a nation of Gods People have turned from Him. We must repent and change our ways back to Gods ways. In closing I ask that you join me the continual prayer for our country, the leaders and the direction we are heading in as a nation. May God have mercy on this country and the people with in, May He bless this country and draw all who are willing back to the very foundation of His truths we find in the Word Of God.

2 Chronicles 7:¹⁴ Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

How Appropriate For This Week...

Psalm 95:2 Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him

How appropriate for this week. Today, all day, I have been singing and baking to this song I hear repeating in my thoughts. Give Thanks! We have so much to be thankful for and not just for this week alone. All year long we should walk in a Thankful spirit. God has done so much for us and no matter what we may walk through on this earth, God, Our heavenly Father, will always be with us. He has given so much to each of us. The greatest of all, He gave us His son, Jesus. How great is our God?

This week as we celebrate Thanksgiving, Can I challenge you? I would like to challenge each of us to not only sit and think on Thanksgiving, but each day up to Thanksgiving and there out. Sometime in the day, think about, what All God has done for you. What all has God given to you?

As I look back over the years, I have so much to be thankful for. I could sit here all night sharing, Lol. In the last year and a half, the greatest of all was watching my pop get a second chance of life. Not many get a second chance at life it self. He is a walking testimony and he now sees this. God has been good to him, to me, to our family. Within our family, God has grown us spiritually more closer then we have been before. He has mend broken hearts and restored them, He has taught within our family, The TRUE meaning of UnConditional Love. If you dont have this, you wont be able to live a solid peace loving life with out it. To this day, He continues to work in and through our family. He has given us a vision and a hope for things to come. We now are walking on more of a solid foundation in Him. There is so much personally speaking that we have to be thankful for. Praise God for all of His Love, His Patience, His Kindness and Mercy. Most of all Praise God for giving us His son Jesus!

America is struggling to keep her Faith. Tho she is struggling, I encourage all to keep their faith in the God of Love who has given His son to you with a message of Hope and Love.. No matter what you are going through tonight, remember that God Loves You and He will never leave you to walk alone.

My prayer to all:

Our gracious Heavenly Father, I thank you for all the blessings that you have bestowed upon your people this day. I thank you, that no matter what we go through in this journey All the struggles we may face, All the hardships and storms of this life, My Father I thank you that there is HOPE in you. I thank you that you have given your people the promise of a brighter tom in you. I thank you that you have given your children the promise that you will never leave us.. My Father, I give you praise for all you are and all you do. I thank you, for giving your precious son to me and all who accept him this day. There is no great love then the love of our Heavenly Fathers. We are blessed even when we do not deserve to be, you have by choice given to your people such a love of compassion like no other. This day, I give you thanks, I sing you praise, I thank you for all you are doing and all you are about to do in our lives. Now, I pray to my lord and savior, Jesus, May you be with all who are struggling this holiday season. May you remind them of the precious Gift we have received and what the True Meaning of this season is all about. My Lord, I pray that you will bless each one this holiday season. Lord be it Traveling Mercies, Be it special needs and provisions, Be it together as a family or individually, My Lord, I pray a blessing one each one breathing. I love you Jesus and I am so thankful for you. Please keep us as a nation safe this holiday season and draw this nation back unto you as we were called to be. With each one struggling Lord, I pray comfort be unto them, I speak peace into their lives right now in the Name of Jesus. May their need be met and provision be provided in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray your Holy Spirit will go forth and prepare the way for each one this day.

Amazing Story of FAITH

Truly a very inspiring and encouraging story. Please run by and check out this blog, Journey for Jesus. This is a true story about a couple like many others let go in the working industry facing hard times. They are from Michigan and have done a truly courageous move after losing just about all they had. Packing everything they own moving in to their Old Time Carriage, with their Clydesdale Horses and dogs they are on a mission to where ever the Lord leads them to.

Right now passing through Indiana heading to the next destination. They are on Day 56 of their journey. This is truly a test of learning FAITH. God Bless these folks and may they have safe travels to where ever their journey leads them to.

What Paul Said About Prayer Lesson 7 - Part 1

Bible Texts: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Thought To Ponder: When we are fully trusting God, we can thank Him in every circumstance of life.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NLT) ¹⁶ Always be joyful. ¹⁷ Never stop praying. ¹⁸ Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Hagin begins out by breaking up the above scripture and interpreting it. So lets take a look at the above scripture a moment. (He notes the KJV can be misleading - Why?) Some people have gotten the idea that Paul was telling us here to pray all the time. ( To View In Other Translations ) When we read in other translations, we will see a few that say, "Continual Prayer, Never give up in prayer," or "Be unceasing in prayer." This simply means, do not give up your prayer life. Have and maintain your prayer life. This does not mean pray with every breath daily.

The exhortation never to give up in prayer is sandwhiched between the exhortations to "rejoice" and "give thanks." Paul said, "Rejoice evermore." We are to be full of rejoicing, in everything.. Looking at vs. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Some of you are saying, But right now I can not give God thanks in everything. In verse 18, Paul says. You can! Notice in vs 18 Paul also says, ..this is God’s will for you .. When we have things in their proper perspective, We can be in the will of God. Bless God, We can give thanks in everything...

When we know and act upon the word of God, we can truly Thank Him in Everything. No matter what it is you need, Thank God for all the things you get.

I also, right quickly want to add to anyone that is looking to Homeschool, Still deciding on whether Homeschool is for you, This is a definate MUST SEE! Everything you will see in this footage is TRUE, Actual Footage from Media as well as resource places and documentry interviews, Footage from two Presidential leaders and more!

I just finished up watching this UNBELIEVEABLE but PRECISE in its ENTIRETY footage about IndoctriNation : Public Schools and The Decline of Christianity In America. From the biginning of our educational system to now. We are talking Years... No Decades... NO CENTURIES of educational corruption in our schools and harming our children. Now we have all seen a lot of the National media put their two cents in on the educational system. I am sure we all have our own two cents.. But this is just jaw dropping. Some I already knew, from speaking with teachers locally and family members in the teaching field. Other things, Just jaw dropping!

You may remember titles like these: "Dumbing America" or "Stupid In America." Honestly, If you watch any of the national or even local news, then I bet you do remember. Some of these titles aired on MSNBC, NBC, C SPAN, CBS, FOX NEWS and probably other unmentioned stations as they were doing a report or countless reports over the last 10-15 years, some even more recent on: The Educational System right here in America. I do remember a lot of these stories that were broadcast and even the ones mentioned in this footage.. Gotta Love The National Media! (Sarcasm)
I can honestly say to those who are not believers, This footage is not just about Christianity, NOR Is it just the EDUCATIONAL ISSUE! The real issue here IS about the TRUTH! We all can agree that ALL Public Government Run Schools are DUMBING children today. Children are being let down and their honestly is more then one that should take the blame. Its not just the leader, The Government who is to blame here. The parents are also to blame. You say, How can this be true?

We can all agree that much of the population today rely on the school system to raise their kids. We can also agree that much of the parents today are kids raising kids! Today, 90% of believers place their children in a Pagan School System. Bet you did not know this? I also bet you that anyone of these christian believers would ridcule the other if they moved their child to a mosque for school or a hindu school, but they are ok with their child in the Pagan School??? Really?! Thats Interesting!

Much of what is in the public school system is: children learning about:

Theories that are not true
Abstinance with the promotion of sexuality as well as handing out BC, Condems to children as young as 7 yrs of age with out parental conscent and the schools do not have to tell you if your child was given the condem nor do they have to respect or honor your wishes
Learning by a government based, government run curriculum agenda, etc...
Everything that is a parents job is pretty much done within the school systems. Must I add the fact that daily there is a push to attack and revoke parent rights to their children while in the school system.

People don't put your faith in a corrupt system that has continuously let the American people down. That is just senseless and stupid. Why would anyone think that education by a corrupt government will be best for their child? Beyond me honeslty! That is just my thinking aloud, not calling anyone out! :)

Many believers that do send there kids to the public school sytem do so mostly because of this scripture:
Matthew 5:¹³ “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.

I just want to say to them, I truly hope you have prayed and sought diligently if this truly Gods Will. Truthfully, I do commend those who do send their children, but be assured you can not change the system, you can only try to teach your children God's Word and pray they hold on to it.

But in a system as flawed and corrupt as the educational system, sending a child in to a ps and also telling them and teaching them Gods word, They are guranteed to let go of Gods Word and focus more on consumption of the PS teachings. How is that so, They are in the PS more then they are with the parent and more then they are in the word of God. Studies show today that about 80% of the Christian children in the PS have turned their back on God. :( So if the scripture above is reasoning for the education provided for the child in your house, If you never really prayed for direction on that, I encourage prayer over that. What ever decisons your family makes, will be the best according to what is best for your family, spirit led or not! Not everyone has the patience to Homeschool, Not everyone wants to homeschool, Not everyone will homeschool! Enough said! :)

The questions to ask yourself here are: What do you want for your children? What do your children deserve? What can you do for your children?

Honestly, We do not need the media to tell us what we all already know. BUT.... Ultimately, it is the parents job to see to it that their children are placed with in a facility that is Teaching TRUTH, Proper Education and Keeping All Children Safe. Which we do not see all of the above - today... It is parents responsibility to advocate for their children. But the question is, How can a parent advocate for their children about something they are not aware of?!

Not all kids come home telling parents about the whole day. Not all children can remember their whole day! No teacher is going to tell the parent about the whole day especially if it means a chance of losing their job for teaching on something the parents disagree with, correcting in a way the parents condone and etc...

I also want to mention, it is not sheltering childeren when you work hard to give them the best education they deserve, even if that means homeschooling, interrupting the ps day to fix or correct an issue with in the school system the includes your child, standing up for JUSTICE and TRUTH and ADVOCATING for the children!

I truly recommend to ALL PARENTS, ANTICHRIST and CHRISTIAN BELIEVERS anyone that will listen, to get a copy of this footage INDOCTRINATION: Public Schools And The Decline of Christianity in America. I honestly dont care if you are ANTICHRIST! This documentation shows you exactly what FEW in Congress have worked hard to show for years but were intercepted by leaders of Government because they do not want you to see or know about the direction they government is leading the educational system towards for today, tomorrow and future generations. EVERY parent that cares about their childs education needs to see this footage!

I can speak from experience, being that I removed my oldest from ps. Plus I have family members in ps teaching and have spoken with ps teachers who struggle to follow this new direction because they do feel it is wrong. Look if we really want to cut down to the nitty gritty, We are going backwards in teh educational system. Some states are so busy pushing technology learning that reading, writing and even math are not as important. Really! That blew me away! In Southern part of our state Math is learned by Technology. They dont even know how to count 0-10. No joke! In the last year they worked to pass a law to eliminate cursive writing and are currently working on writing adjustments period. Our ancestors worked so hard to learn to read and write and count math to help generations to come, (like Us Today). Only to be slapped in the face to have education return in the direction to which it came from. Mind Boggling!
Look, This Footage is not just Christian Views and There IS Much More then Christian Views at stake here and shown in this footage.

If we want to make it about christian views, let me remark this quote noted in the film:
Anything that leurs, decieves or takes us or our children away from Jesus, IS Worthy of DESTRUCTION! So destroy anything influence that is interfering with your walk, your families walk, your childrens walk with Jesus.

Just a thought I want to leave you with:

There is ALWAYS going to be an ATTACK on the Christian Faith and The Believer! BUT... When it comes right down to it: The truth is There is NO FREEDOM OF SPEECH FOR THE CHRISTIAN BELIEVER and HAS NOT BEEN FOR SOME TIME! BUT... THERE IS FREEDOM OF SPEECH FOR THE ATHIEST, The HINDU, The ISLAMIC RELIGION AND ANY OTHER RELIGION ... ANTICHRIST!

**** Don't mistake this as an attack on any religion in genral, any gender, ethnicity, sex preference or etc... This IS just stating the FACTS! Regardless of what denomination, religion or antichrist background, I think we all will agree, OUR CHILDREN DESERVE THE BEST EDUCATION PERIOD! This is where it is OUR JOB as THE PARENT to take back our children and the education they deserve. If the Government wants to control something, I can give them the best advice on what to control! CONTROL SPENDING, CONTROL YOUR OWN LIFE! Let the people alone and live the life of which Our Ancestors sought, fought, and died for This American Dream!

Thought To Ponder: Whatever our need may be, it is our privilege in Christ to demand that this need be met.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 -18 Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

When Paul wrote to the Early Church, He had much to say to the New Christian about prayer. A point Mr. Hagin notes on is, in the KJV this scripture can be misleading. Some have gotten the idea that Paul was telling us here to pray all the time. Other translations of this verse read, "Never give up in prayer," or "Be unceasing in prayer." In other words, dont't give up your paryer life. Maintain a prayer life. It doesn't mean that we are to pray with every breath. That is impossible.

In my words: I know we all can relate to the "hard time in Thanking God for all the good and even the rotten bad things we meet." But the truth is, I have learned over the years and continue to learn that we must give thanks with a thankful heart, not because we are asked to. We can not truly show thankful acts if we truly are not thankful.

Listen     I have gone through a lot of good, but a lot of bad things in my life. If I shared all the details, some of your jaws would probably drop a dozen times with each detail and it would take to long. None the less, With each hard time, How could I thank a God that allowed such terrible things on one person. This so called, Loving God. Well, thats very hard to do and I promise you in much of my lowest moments, I swore, Yes, swore, I would not be thankful nor would I serve this so called loving God. I learned the hard way also. But over the years, I was led to know Jesus and with a lot of devotion to the word of God and prayer as well as spiritual growth and help from leaders the Lord placed in my path, even to this very day, I am still learning and have learned to be Thankful and content. Not easy, but once we get there it becomes easier each time.

Some say, I lost a loved one, How can I thank Him for my losing my loved one? Ah Ha, easy, I had to do the very thing when I lost my only sibling 3 mos before his 21st birthday on Christmas Eve. Listen, the truth is, we can toss out any excuse we want, but they are just excuses and our way of saying, Lord, I know we are asked to be thankful, but I can not give you my thanks -- honestly because we are so consumed with the situation rather then being so consumed and lost in the Word of God.

So something to think about... I encourage you to ask the Lord to teach you How to be Thankful even in the hardest of times. I promise you, He will do just that...

Bible Texts: John 14:10-14; 16:7-14, 23-24

Thought To Ponder: Whatever our need may be, it is our privilege in Christ to demand that this need be met.

John 14:10-14 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me. Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do. “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!

Again taking a look at the Gospel of John about prayer. We know that John did not record anything the other Gospel writers did in regard to prayer. We also know that the other writers did not note anything that John wrote about.
John notes, "if everything Jesus said and did was written, the world itself could not contain the books." John also said, He wrote that we might believe that Jesus is the Son of God." So again we see that not all of the Gospel writers wrote on the same things.

Mr. Hagin notes, in this lesson that many believe John 14:10-14 refers to prayer. But in fact it does not. He then moves on to break and compare this chapter up with John 16:23-24, which is noted below:

John 16:23-24 At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name. You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.

In chapter 16 of John, Jesus was talking about something different then in chapter 14. In chapter 16, Jesus said in verse 23, "At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name." But in John 14:13 Jesus says, "You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father." So we see He is talking about two different things.

To Demand As Our Right

Mr. Hagin goes on to say, lets examine these scriptures in the Greek New Testament. The Greek word here translated "ask" means "demand". Or, "You can "demand" for anything in my name, and I will do it" We are not demanding it of God. When we pray, we ask of God in Jesus Name. But we are demanding this of the devil. If we look at the Greek translation it would say, (KJV)"Whatsoever ye shall demand as your right...." (not ask as a favor).

Whatever we ask or demand as our right, Jesus said, "I will do it." We have the right to demand that satan take his hands off our finances if we are having dificulty making ends meed. Whatever our need may be, it is our privelege, our right, in Christ to ask, to demand, that this need be met.

Greater Works

Not only did Jesus say that we would do the same works that He did; He also said, ".... and GREATER works that these shall he do..." (John 14:12) The He continues on to tell us why we would do greater works: ".... because I go unto my Father." The great works that the Chruch can do and is doing today are due to the fact that Jesus has gone to the Father.

John 16:7-11 ⁷ But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate^[a] won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. ⁸ And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. ⁹ The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me. ¹⁰ Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more. ¹¹ Judgment will come because the ruler of this world has already been judged.

What are these greater works? We show men and women how to become born again. Someone might ask, Weren't people saved, or born again? They were saved in the same sense that people in the Old Testament were saved, but they were not "born again." The work of the Holy Spirit is necessary in the New Birth, and while Jesus was on earth the Holy Spirit had not yet been given. This is why Jesus said in verse 7 of John 16, "⁷ But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate^[a] won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you."

Some may ask, Didn't Jesus forgive people's sin while He was here on earth?" Yes, but there is a difference between having one's sin forgiven and being born again. After a person is born again, If he sins, he can get forgiveness, but he is not born again a second time. (If that were true we would be born again a thousand times) The New Birth is a greater work that a healing or a miracle. So people were not born again while Jesus was on earth. The next thing to note is, we never read in the four Gospels, "and the Lord added daily to the Chruch such as should be saved." However, we do see this repeatedly in the Book of Acts. This is because there wasn't any Church in Jesus' day in the sense that we think of the New Testament Church. So the only body of Christ that was here on earth was Jesus physical body.

Praying in Jesus' Name

(NLT)In John 16:23 ²³ At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name.     When He said, "at that time you won't need to ask me for anything," He was referring to the day in which we now live      the day of the New Covenant, the day of the New Testament. One translation notes, "In that day ye shall not pray to me." He told us not to pray to Him but to pray to the Father in Jesus' Name. John 16:23 "At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name" verse 24 reads, "You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy."

He was telling His disciples that while He was on the earth with them, they did not pray to the Father in Jesus' Name; However, "in that day," when He would no longer be on earth, they would ask the Father in the Name of Jesus, "and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full."

In closing Mr. Hagin reminds us that, "Our Heavenly Father long to meet our every need      if only we would ask Him       so our joy may be full.

Bible Text: Matthew 21:18 - 22; Mark 11:12-14 & 20-24; John 15:7-8

Thought To Ponder: Where the word of God abides, there faith abides.

(NLT) Matthew 21:18-22 In the morning, as Jesus was returning to Jerusalem, he was hungry, and he noticed a fig tree beside the road. He went over to see if there were any figs, but there were only leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” And immediately the fig tree withered up. The disciples were amazed when they saw this and asked, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?” Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

Pray, Believe, Recieve

Above is another scripture where Jesus teaches on prayer. In this chapter, in the verses above, we see that Jesus is talking about Faith and Prayer. We can not talk about faith and not talk about prayer, nor can we talk about prayer with out faith. They go hand in hand. In the book of Mark there is one account on prayer that relates to the above scriptures. Only Matthew speaks of this in five verses and Mark speaks of the same story but in twice as many as verses.

Mark 11:12-14, 20-24 ¹² The next morning as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. ¹³ He noticed a fig tree in full leaf a little way off, so he went over to see if he could find any figs. But there were only leaves because it was too early in the season for fruit. ¹⁴ Then Jesus said to the tree, “May no one ever eat your fruit again!” And the disciples heard him say it. 20The next morning as they passed by the fig tree he had cursed, the disciples noticed it had withered from the roots up. 21 Peter remembered what Jesus had said to the tree on the previous day and exclaimed, “Look, Rabbi! The fig tree you cursed has withered and died!” 22Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
In John's account of what Jesus said about prayer, not one time does he use the words,"faith" or "believe." An example is in John 15:7-8 But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.

Why is it necessary to use the words, Faith or Believe in this passage of Scripture about prayer? It is because, there is no problem with faith if His words abide in you. There is only a lack of faith when the Word doesn't abide in you, because if the Word doesn't abide, something else does. If the Word abides in you, Faith abides in you. NLT Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

A person may be giving mental assent to belief in the Word of God. He could stand up, shake his fist, an declare with fervor that he believes in the verbal inspiration of the Bible, that he believes it from cover to cover from Genesis to Revelation yet never have the Word abdiding in him. Hagin continues to point out, Jesus didn't say, "if you remain in me..." and stop there. If He had stopped there we would automatically have it made as born-again Christians, because with the New Birth we do abide in Christ. We can read on in John 15 and see the scripture continues on to say, "and my words remain in you.."

The Word of Faith

Mr. Hagin brings out a great point in saying, "It is good to study and compare different Gospel writers accounts of the same story, because we get different views on the same incident."

In Matthew's account of the above story, in verse 22, Jesus said, "You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.” Mark puts it differently in verse 24, saying, "I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours."

Both writers gave the basic formula for faith: Pray, Believe, Recieve.

What if I didnt receive? Then you didnt ask believing! The scripture says, If you pray and believe, you shall recieve!

The word is called, "The Word of Faith" NLT Romans 10:8 In fact, it says, "The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.” If the Word abides in you, it will cause Faith to spring up in your heart.

The Light of The Word

Psalm 119:130 The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.

When we know the Word, we are not praying in the dark. We have light.

Psalm 119: 105 Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

We are not walking in the dark. Our pathway is lighted when we have the Word!

What Jesus Said About Prayer (Part 2)

Bible Texts: Matthew 7:7-11; Luke 11:5-13

Thought To Ponder: God loves us and wants us to have good things, just as we love our children and want them to have good things.

Brief recap: Matthew 6:7-13. The model prayer Jesus gave to His disciples was the "Lords Prayer." The last post covered the following principles:

Now lets move on to Matthew 7:7-11 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

“You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

Knowing God As Father

Here we can see one reason the Jews could not understand Jesus. If Jesus had come along as the prophets of old, proclaiming judgement against them and presenting a distant, unapproachable God to them, they might have understood Him better. That was the picture of God that they were accustomed to. When God came down and talked to Moses on the mountain, there was fire, thunder, and lightening. Anyone who touched that mountain died instantly. When the presence of God moved into the Holy of Holies, no one dared intrude there for fear of instant death. The Jews knew about a God who was high and holy a God who dealt an awful judgement and they feared Him.

Jesus, however, came with a message of love. He introduced God as a Father. He suggest they could approach God as a Father. But the Jews just couldn't comprehend that kind of a God. We see this very thing happening today. For many, Christianity is just a religion to a faraway God. They really don't know Him. They never come to Him in the name of Jesus Christ in order to know Him personally as their Father; so they try to approach Him in the wrong manner.

I want to paint a few visual images for a moment, bare with me:

Imagine knowing of a God who was harsh,distant, full of judgement and fearsome much of your life. Then one day, a man comes along and proclaims he is the son of God. He describes this God to be his Father and how He can be our Heavenly Father. Most of all, this God he speaks of is gentle and loving to all. Then he speaks of how anyone can approach this God anytime, anyplace. Now I want you to compare this visual to the next visual.
Imagine your an only sibling for a moment, your mother or father, well it is all new to them. So in a lot of cases the first sibling usually has it more rough, but in most cases a loving roughness. Keep in mind that in most cases, Both parents are loving, loya and really good parents. But... There are many cases today where either Mom or Dad is absent or they are everything but Mom or Dad. They are harsh natured, very distant, highly judgemental and very fearsome to their kids. These are the kinds of parents that never show much love.

So where am I going with these two visuals? What happens when one day: Another child is born, A serious accident happens that is life threatening, etc. I can name a lot of instances that could happen. One day these parents are going to get a wake up call, hopefull it wont be too late. But what happens when they do get that wake up call and want to change their life and make things right between their loved ones, their children and all those they hurt in the past? It can happen, It does happen, most every day some where, some one wants to make things right.
Now lets go back to the first visual, God sent His only son to earth to preach the gospel, share His love so that we could have eternal life with Him. Do you think the day Jesus was born to earth, God didn't have second thoughts about changing the way He was to the people He created? He must have because He gave His son to all of us. What about the day Jesus died on the cross? These are things to definately to think about.

Ask, Seek, Knock... Believe (Matthew 7:7 nlt)“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you."

We all know it is in the bible, but how much of us truly use this verse in our walk? Too often we fail to receive what we are asking for, we fail to find what we are seeking and the door on which we are knocking is not opened. Why? We must be doing something wrong when we don't receive, because the next verse (vs 8) promises, "For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." What is the reason of our failure?

In this prinicple Mr. Hagin brings out this point: In the earlier days in the Holy Land, when someone came to the outer gate and knocked, seeking entrance, the more wealthy would send their servant to call out and ask the name of the visitor. If it was someone who was known, they could enter immediately. If it was someone unknown, the servant would go to the master of the house and ask if he should let the visitor in. The thought here is that when you knock, if you are known, you gain immediate entrance. "To him that knock it shall be opened."
If when we ask we do not recieve, if when we seek we do not find, if when we knock it is not opened to us, we should ask ourselves if we are known by the Master of the house. If not, we should become acquainted personally and intimately with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We should make Him Lord of our life.

What earthly parent wants their children to go through life poor and downtrodden? Most of us labor and sacrifice so our children can have advantages we never had. So if we being carnal being human want good things for your children. "...How Much More shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" If we want happieness for our children, how much more does God want the same for us.

Luke 11:5-13 Then, teaching them more about prayer, he used this story: “Suppose you went to a friend’s house at midnight, wanting to borrow three loaves of bread. You say to him, ‘A friend of mine has just arrived for a visit, and I have nothing for him to eat.’ And suppose he calls out from his bedroom, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is locked for the night, and my family and I are all in bed. I can’t help you.’ But I tell you this—though he won’t do it for friendship’s sake, if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence.“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. “You fathers—if your children ask for a fish, do you give them a snake instead? Or if they ask for an egg, do you give them a scorpion? Of course not! So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.”

The Prayer of Importunity (Luke 11:5-13 nlt)

In this account, which deals with Importunity, many people had the mistaken idea that Jesus was teaching us to keep on asking in order to get results. In this parable we see a man who ahd a guest arrive during the night. He didn't have any bread to set before him, so he went to his neighbor's house and asked for a loaf of bread. The neighbor responded, "I'm already in bed; don't bother me." But when the man kept pleading with him, he finally granted his request. Here Jesus was illustrating that although the neighbor would not get out of bed to give the man bread just because he was a friend, he gave it to him because of his importunity. Jesus was saying, how much more our heavenly Father will hear us and grant our requests. It is the importunity of faith, not the importunity of unbelief, that gets results. Importunity of Faith - works!

The Will of God In Prayer - Lesson 3 - Part 1

What Jesus Said About Prayer (Part 1)

Bible Text: Matthew 6:5-13

Central Truth: The Lord's Prayer is a pattern in which we see certain principles of prayer.

(NLT) Matthew 6:5-13 “When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get. But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. “When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.

In this chapter Hagin notes:
While Jesus was here on earth, He taught alot on prayer. One of the best known of his teaching is the "Lords Prayer" (noted above in Matthew 6)

Private Prayer

One of the first things he notes in Matthew 6:5 is this: “When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites..." Surely none of us wants to be hypocriticial, especially in our praying. Next, He goes on to describe the hypocrites; "who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them" This does not mean, that all of our prayer should be private. In the book of Acts we see the early church praying together. What is Jesus referring to? He is referring to the danger of praying only to be seen of men. There are those who pray in public to appear really spiritual; to make people think they are reall prayer warriors. Those who pray only for the applause of men have their reward, and that is all that is the fleeting applause of men.

Jesus told his disciples in verse 6 "But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private." He was stressing the importance of a private prayer life. Public prayer is necessary and vital in the life of the Church. Praying together as a family in necessary and vital to eh spritual strength of a home. But, Private prayer is essential to the spiritual life of the individual. It is where we grow in spiritual stature.

Repetitious Prayer

Jesus goes on to say in verse 7 "When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again." Thus, we have two admonitions from the Lord: (1) don't be like the hypocrites in our praying and (2) don't be like the heathen in our praying. Jesus said, the heathen think they will be heard by their gods because of their repetitious prayer. Hagin goes on to express how the heathen way of think has come in to the church. (Very True). Noting: Many believe that God will hear them because of their consistant speaking their lengthy and repeated calling on God. They repeat the same prayer they say the same words or phrases over and over again thinking they will be heard because of that. This is exactly what Jesus condemned when hH said, "When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do..." In verse 8, He says, "Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!" He (the father) knows before we ask him, yet He wants us to ask him we can read on to the next chapter and see that He (Jesus) then says, "Ask, and it shall be given unto you... "(Matthew 7:7)

God does not hear you because you repeat the same prayer over and over. It does not matter how long or loud you talk, God is not going to hear you, because it is the prayer of faith, that God hears and will answer. "He hears you because you believe Him when you pray, and you come according to His Word.

Basic Principles of Prayer

Hagin continues on to covering the next few verses of Matthew 6 and noting: Jesus taught His disciples some basic elements of prayer. Commonly referred to as the "Lords Prayer", it is more accurately the Disciples Prayer or the model for prayer that He gave them while He walked with them on this earth. This is not the church speaking for the disciples did not ask anything in the Name of Jesus. When the church body pray, we ask in the Name of Jesus. Jesus was not telling the disciples to pray this prayer word for word, He was giving them some priniciples in connection with prayer that will work for the church today.

I want to add this one point I have noticed over the years that today much of the belief from the church and some of the individuals walking this journey in Christ, that they believe some of what the bible says was specifically for then and will not work now. THIS IS SO WRONG! We need to walk away from the mindset of what work then will not work now. The bibles clearly says that it will work now because the bible has not changed, God has not changed. The bible is Gods living word and it will always be the same yesterday, today and forever. If God spoke it then, He speaks it now and He will continue to speak it tomorrow. If we take Him at His word, then we will see clearly the Work of God in our life daily. Its not take some of the bible or some of Gods word and live it, Its take all of Gods word from Genesis to Revelations and Live it daily. We are of the New testament but just because we are of the new testament church does not mean we ignore the old testament. Much of the old testament is still alive today.

The Principle of Praise

The prayer begins in Matthew 6 like this, "Our Father in heaven..." The unsaved can pray this prayer just as they can recite a poem or sing a song. But to really pray this prayer from the heart to really have fellowship with God one must actually be a child of God. Otherwise, we truly can not say, "Our Father..." Hagin continues on saying, "Today there is much teaching on the "Fatherhood of God" and the "Brotherhood of Man". Some would have us believe that we are all children of God; that he is the father of all of us. While it is true that He's the Creator of all, He isn't the Father of all of us. He is only the Father of those who have been born again; those in His family. During Jesus earthly ministry, He once told a group of Pharisees, who were very religious people, (John 8:44) " For you are the children of your father the devil." The Pharisees were good people as far as works were concerned. Yet Jesus said, "You are the children of your father the devil!"

What did He mean? He is saying here that the right approach to God is to come to Him because He is our Father, and to come in praise and worship: "Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy - ( in verse 9 of Matthew 6 NLT), We should come in to His presence first with Praise and Worship because He is our Father.

The Principles of Putting God First

Looking at vs 10, " May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. The principle here is, Putting the Kingdom of God first. Further down in this chapter Jesus repeated this principle in verse 33 saying,"Seek the Kingdom of Godabove all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." If we put God first, we do not have to worry about material needs for, "all things shall be added unto you."

Have you ever thought how all-inclusive this prayer is? Jesus prayed, "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Do you suppose there are any sick people in heaven?

(NKJV) John 10:10 ...."I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

The Principle of Daily Prayer

In Matthew 6:11 Jesus taught us the importance of daily prayer, asking God for our every need:
"Give us today the food we need." Even though God knows our every need, He still wants us to ask...

The Principle of Forgiveness

Jesus taught much about forgiveness during His stay here on earth, and He included forgiveness as one of the essential elements of prayer. In verse 12, "and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us." In verse 14-15, He also notes,“If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins." Prayer will not work in an unforgiving heart. We simply can not hold a grudge against anyone and maintain a prayer life that gets results. I want to note, that if we look at this honestly, we could see the hypocrite we would become by not obeying the word of God and trying to seek Him with an unforgiving heart. Don't we think that would insult him?

The Principle of Deliverance from Temptation

(NLT) Matthew 6:13 "And don’t let us yield to temptation,but rescue us from the evil one." The word temptation means, "TEST" or "TRIAL." Many tests and trials could be overcome in advance by the child of God who is enjoying the fellowship with the Father that a proper prayer life brings. And finally, in closing, (NKJV) ".... For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." The prayer that began with praise also ends with praise.

Locally, A Beautiful Sky Wanted To Share

Spectacular event over our sky here in Indy. We do not get to experience this often so this is definately a treat. Each time we have had them well, I have never been priveleged enough to witness them until tonight. Thank the Lord! I do feel blessed to be able to see this beautiful sky of lights in my own front yard. I thought I was going to have to make a trip to Alaska just to see these beautiful Northern Lights. Here is one of the pictures shot by a local news station weather chaser. Enjoy!

Fresh Pumpkin Puree ( ♥ This One )

Ok, One of my favorite times in the year is Fall.. I dont know quite how to explain what Fall means to me and what it actually does... I love the colors of the changing leaves everywhere, I love the cool air, I love the smell of freshly baked goods, I love the smell of wood burning in the air. I honestly love the pioneer like atmosphere with all the festivities and outdoor fun. I just honestly love Fall... That to note, I will begin a few posts of some of my favorites recipes that I use alot and also go along with this time of the year... First post being a bit longer, here is a easy way to make your own fresh puree.

Any time I post this, I will always shout out Renee for this Recipe, Since she was the one who first told me the "How To's." I was always told by everyone around me, that this would take all day to do and it is such a mess not worth the time.

But the truth is: Prep time is about 15-20 minutes, Bake time depending on size of your pumpkin(s) - Usually varies between 1 hr and 1 1/2 hrs. Cooling time 10-20 minutes (depends on you - I think it is easier to pull skin when it is still somewhat warm). Blending Canning Prep Time: 15-30 minutes. Further explaination below.

All in all I say it is definately well worth a little mess and fun in my opinion. Get the kids involved and have some fun.. :) I have been an addict to making Fresh Pumpkin Puree and adding this to all of my recipes.. Everyone loves the fresh pumpkin taste and sweeteness in my recipes. Many Thanks again to Renee!

*TIP*
First off, lets talk pumpkin sizes. Here is the sizes we have to choose from:

Mini Pumpkins ( Mostly used as Fall Party and Table decorations - estimated weight not quite a pound for just 1 )
Small Carving Pumpkins (Usually the pumpkins that are bought for Toddlers as they are just the right size for them to carry - estimated weight 3 - 7 lbs )
Small/Medium Carving Pumpkins ( These are just a step up from the small pumpkins. Estimated weight 7 - 12 lbs)
Medium Carving Pumpkins These are also somewhere between the size of the small/medium pumpkins to a little bit bigger ( estimated weight 10 - 15 lbs )
Large to Extra Large Pumpkins (These are the bigger pumpkins that are a bit heavier to carry, stand a bit taller. The weight is usually anything over 15 lbs. )

Now I base these by the size of what I buy mine at from the orchard.

What does it matter what the size of the pumpkin is?

We always hear how size is everything. Not really, just depends on the person. (stay with me here)When it comes to baking a pumpkin, how sweet do you want your pumpkin flavoring? This is what determines the size of pumpkin you will need.

Flavoring by pumpkin size:

Small and Small/Medium pumpkins will flavor to be sweet
Medium will be mildly sweet
Large will be less sweet somewhat bland

In my opinion, The better flavoring pumpkins are the small to medium pumpkins. The bigger you go in pumpkin size the less sweet it will be. Now for the recipe!

Fresh Pumpkin Puree - (I do have pictures but I will have to add them later since they are on my phone)

1st Step - You don't have to do this first, but I always do. I usually make a quick rinse under cool/warm water cleansing the dirt off the pumpkin(s) that I am preparing for bake. Nothing major just a rinse. Then I cut the top off the pumpkin(s).

TIP: This works best with an Ice Cream scooper3rd Step After gutting the pumpkin(s) If I have made a mess: I will usually wet a paper towel and make a quick wipe off the side of the pumpkin skin, Not always depends on the mess I made. :)

Third Step on cookie sheet, place your pumpkin skin side up and bake your pumpkin at 450° for 45 minutes.

Now some choose to bake their pumpkins with the skins UnCovered and others bake their pumpkins the whole time Covered. I have tried this both ways, Either way you do it you will still have water to drain from the pumpkin more or less really depends on the climate and growth of your harvested pumpkin. Also I have noticed that covering your pumpkins the whole cook time does tend to over cook or burn the skins and sometimes the inside near that burned area. So I would recommend cooking uncovered first 45 minutes then covering and cooking the remaining time (sometimes 40-50 minutes).
What do I do with all the water the pumpkin drained during bake? Dont throw it away just yet. I usually take just a little to throw it in the blender to mix puree. (if your using a hand mixer or processor you may not need the water) Really it is up to you. Some people drain it down the sink, dump it outside and some use a little amount in with their puree. Its up to you. I do use a little and drain the rest down the sink. (usually anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 cup - depending on how much water is there and how many pumpkins I bake.

4th Step Cover with foil and cook another 45 minutes

Finally, Let your pumpkins cool some and peel back the skins and any of the remaining stringy pumpkin hair as I call him, :) You can throw the skins away as they will be no good here out.

Bake 45 minutes at 450° uncovered. Then you will want to cover your pumpkins and bake an additional 40 to 50 minutes, or until pumpkins are soft. (Time can vary by pumpkin)

Now, it is time to puree.. Items needed:

Blender, Mixer or food processor
Bowl
Canning supplies, Freezer Bags or Glass containers to store in freezer.

I use my blender as I can cram more in it then my processor. Sometimes I do need to add some of the remaining water from bake. (noted above). Blend your puree together until it is all smooth and nice looking. (It does get nice looking belive it or not. :) ).

If you are using canning jar, then you will want your pumpkin some what warm for this process. I should note you can follow the normal process of canning (which I do not do) or you can follow these instructions: ( I do use canning jars after my bags had holes in freeze)

I make sure my jars and lids are all clean.
Warmer the pumpkin puree is the better it is for putting in the jars and seal (suction of the lid)
After blending I take my jar and funnel and begin to fill my cans to top.
Placing the lids on immediately after filling the can, it will suction some to the jar and pop. Tighten lid and place in freezer for later use.

Same thing can be done with other containers, but if they are plastic containers or bags, You will need to wait until your puree has completely been cooled.

DO NOT add any other ingredients to your puree until the date you are ready to use the puree. You will follow the recipe just as it reads and add the amount of puree needed when you are ready to use it.

Waaa Laaa! I think will say this when I make mine and then we all can get a good laugh out of my mess. LOL!

O but dont waste the insides, COOK THE SEEDS. I love cooking the seeds and yummy!

Seed Cooking

Clean your seeds in strainer really good

Set them on a towel to dry out some

throw them on baking sheet (well ok dont throw them :),

add some salt and then Bake them.

Bake in oven at 375F for 10 -15 mins You want them golden brown not burned so just keep eye on them. Pull them out let cool and eat away!

2nd Step is to Cut your pumpkin(s) in half and clean all of the seeds out. (BUT.. Save your seeds to bake and eat later) If you can not get all of the stringy stuff out that is ok, do the best you can as you will be able to get the rest out after the bake is finalized.

Looking back over the last several years, I have held on to a few devotionals that I felt prompted to hold on to. Here is one I would like to share with you.

Encourager

Ephesians 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

I will never find in the Bible Satan carrying a sword. Not one scripture in the Bible says the devil is carrying anything except words. I have been given a mighty weapon to counteract the enemy's words - Gods Word. I have the authority in the Name that is above all names to go into the enemy’s camp and take back everything he has stolen from me and my family, now it is up to me to use it!

What brings the Gospel into the world? Believers do - you and I do. I am a carrier of the living Word of God, and I have the answer the world needs. How will the people of the world know they can recover all and be set free from bondage unless I tell them that Christ Jesus has given them power to penetrate the enemy's camp?

Matthew 28:19-21 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

1 Peter 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.

The enemy has many assaults planned. The Church will need very keen discernment this year. This is why we must spend more intimate time with the Father. Though the enemy has assaults planned against America and Christians, if we will turn from our wicked ways and repent, then the enemy will find himself at the blunt of many unexpected assaults. There will be more unexpected assaults against the demonic kingdom of darkness than against the believers. Much land will be gained for the Kingdom of God in this year because of intense prayer strategy that will come through divine revelation. The keen discernment in God’s prophets will increase and we will plunder the enemy’s camp.

This is my year to defeat the Amalekite stronghold. The Amalekites preyed upon the weak and feeble. They attack those who lag behind a moving army/camp. When I am battle weary or simply lagging behind, I am easy prey to the enemy. This year there will be a new strength and new grace to move forward. I will be strong and courageous as King David. When the Amalekites stole his family and possessions, he encouraged himself in the Lord. The Lord gave David warfare instructions:

1 Samuel 30:8 And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

I will also pursue my enemies with new-found strength. I will overtake the Amalekites and recover all that was stolen. However, this can only happen if I do not compromise my faith, commitment and dedication to God.

A Year of Double Portions, Peace and Amazing Grace

I will rule and reign on the throne of David and use the keys of David to unlock the hidden things. Prosperity is one of the doors that will be unlocked and double blessings as well as double portion anointing will be released and realized. God will give me His Amazing Grace to complete my apostolic assignments and fulfill destiny. There is much more to be accomplished as the Kingdom of God is established upon the earth. As His Kingdom is more firmly established, the Church will be more firmly established in covenant blessings and covenant authority.

DIVE INTO HIS PRESENCE AND REMAIN IN HIS RIVER OF BREAKTHROUGH, BLESSING AND INCREASE. GO DEEP!

2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

I am sick and tired of the enemy attacking Gods people and getting joy out of their suffering and pain. I plan on going deeper with the Lord and becoming the Warrior He has called me to be. I have been chosen by the Lord, and I don’t take that call on my life lightly!

Will Of God In Prayer - Lesson 2

In my last post on our study book by Kenneth E Hagin, we covered lesson 1 which discussed "The Six Most Important Things In Prayer." That was (Part 1). In this post we will continue on with Lesson 2 which also is a short continuation of Lesson 1.

The Six Most Important Things in Prayer Part 2

Bible Texts: Romans 8:26,27; 1 Corinthians 14:14,15; Jude 20; 1 Corinthians 14:4

Thought to ponder: When we allow the Holy Spirit to pray through us        to help us inour prayer life
       we will see amazing answers to our prayers.

    Ephesians 6:¹⁸ Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

To briefly recap, In the last post we discussed the following 3 of the 6 Important Things in Prayer:

Pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus (John 16:23-24)
Believe You Recieve (Mark 11:24)
Forgive When You Pray (Mark 11:25-26)

The fourth important thing in prayer is:

Depend Upon the Holy Spirit in Your Prayer Life (Romans 8:26,27)

Lets be honest for a second. How often do we pray in the Holy Spirit? How often do we allow the Holy Spirit freedom in our life? In my life there was a time will I diligently sought and waited upon the Holy Spirit. But lets be realisticly here, LIFE HAPPENS! I got married, I had my daughter plus my step, then had three more little ones. Life got hectic. But I started realising that just because my life got hectic does not mean I should shut the Holy spirit down and quit walking out with him. Over time, as I and We (my dh and family and I) grew more and more and then I started falling back in to the ways of leaning on the Holy Spirit and allowing him to guide more and more and I tell you, honestly, when we truly learn to lean on the Holy Spirit that is when we really see God at work.

So now that I give you something to think on I will note the scripture below, :).

Romans 8:2^26,²⁷ And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.

Hagin says, "Christians everywhere pray with the understanding, but not all pray with the Spirit (pray in tongues). Many do not even know it is possible to do so. Some in their haste and their ignorance of the Scriptures have said that tongues have been done away with. But if that were true, how are we to "pray with the spirit" today? Surely the Corinthian Christians didn't have a means of praying that we can't have. We have the same means available to us today.

I like what he says here. He may be a little blunt to some, but I like what he says. Doesn't our bible say that "GOD IS," the same YESTERDAY, TODAY and FOREVER? If he says to do something this way, What makes us think that today it has changed? The BIBLE IS our daily bread of life. The BIBLE IS GODS LIVING WORD! Nothing about the bible changes. It is "We The People" that read the bible that make the change. So pray in your spiritual man, it is after all our native tongue. When we pray in our Spirit Man, Only God can understand what we are praying. I also want to note, when we pray in our spiritual language we bring forth intercessory prayer. Read more on this below.

1 Corinthians 14:14,15 For if I pray in tongues, my spirit is praying, but I don’t understand what I am saying. Well then, what shall I do? I will pray in the spirit, and I will also pray in words I understand. I will sing in the spirit, and I will also sing in words I understand.

The fifth important thing in prayer is:

Pray the Prayer of Intercession (Jude 20 and 1 Corinthians 14:4)

Jude 1:²⁰ But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
1 Corinthians 14:⁴ A person who speaks in tongues is strengthened personally, but one who speaks a word of prophecy strengthens the entire church.

Romans 8:²⁶ And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. (He makes Intercession on our behalf)
NKJV ²⁶ Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The prayer of intercession is not for you, rather it is you standing in the gap for someone else.

An intercessor is one who takes the place of another. You are intercedeing for another person when you pray in intercessory prayer. EVERY spirit filled believer can expect the Holy Spirit to help him/her intercede. Intercessory prayer can be for anyone, anything. It can be about people we dont know or things we are not aware of but the spirit is aware of. After a time in the spirit we will know whether we were praying in tongues for ourselves to build ourselves up spiritually and worship God, which is discussed later on in the next and final step. or if we were interceding for others.

The final most important thing in prayer:

Edify Yourself by Praying in the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:4)

1 Corinthians 14:⁴ A person who speaks in tongues is strengthened personally, but one who speaks a word of prophecy strengthens the entire church.

We cannot help others we cannot edify others unless we ourselves have been edified.

Praying in this manner has a three - fold value:

It is a means of spiritual edification, effecting us individually
It is a means of praying for things about which we do not know
The Holy Spirit helps us make intercession

He goes on to say, Speaking in tongues is not only an initial evidence of the Holy Spirit's indwelling; t is a continual experience for the rest of one's life. It is to assist in the worship of God. It is a flowing stream that never should dry up. It will enrich your life spiritually.

Will of God in Prayer - Lesson 1

Well, I had been off of this blog a while really overwhelmed in alot of things around here. But I am back to post more frequently, that is until the Lords says differently. :)

I wanted to share a study we started in our church and I will be posting frequently through out this series in this study. It is titled, "The Will of God In Prayer" by Kenneth E. Hagin. (Highly Recommend books by Hagin Ministries)

Tonight, I wanted to share on Chapter 1 - The Six Most Important Things In Prayer (Part 1)
Bible Texts: John 16:23-24, Mark 11:24-26, Acts 24:25

Thought to ponder: "There is something about believing God that will casue Him to pass over a million people to get to you."     Smith Wigglesworth

As we began chapter one, one of the first things that stood out to me was this noted part by Mr. Hagins when he says, (refering to Gods Word)    "He says, "If you believe you shall receive," not "If you hope you shall receive." He didn't say to "keep on keeping on" until you got the answer. He (God) said when you pray you should believe you receive. When I first became saved, I remember hearing something similar to this, probably explains why I had such great Faith then.. As time pressed on, I got married, family grew, like kicked in High for a while and then our church leaders changed and unfortunately, Things went plumeting downward.. Sound familiar? It happens to all of us. But what I realised was that over time I allowed certain events consume me rather then brush them off of me.

As time went on and certain events happened leading us to where we are now and with the church family we have now, I and my family are back on track and growing again in our faith. This got me thinking: Are my prayers prayed in faith? When I pray do I pray what I believe or do I pray what I am asking for? I want to recieve but am I recieving what I ask while I pray? Well... at first, no I dont think they were. No really to all of the above. But now, I am learning to pray in faith and recieve my answered prayer rather pray and keep praying for my request. I give Thanks to the Lord God for answering my prayers. Thank you for our finances, debt free. Thank you for the New House, The Land that which came with it. Thank you for meeting our needs that are met. Thank you for the blessing in employment and so on.. We need to pray a pray of faith to recieve that which we need met and seal this prayer each time in the Name of Jesus. (John 16:23-24, Mark 11:24-26)  We now are heading down the right path and praise God it leads directly to Him and no place else.

An other part that stood out to me was this, "We are saved by faith: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" Ephesians 2:8-9 KJ (and in the NLT it reads as this: Ephesians 2:8-9God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. )

Mr. Hagin continues on saying, "We walk by faith, not by sight. It is the prayer of faith God listens to. He said you can have the desires of your heart if you believe you recieve them. You have to believe first, however. I am convinced that if people would quit praying repeatedly about some of the things they pray about and begin thanking God for the answer, the answer would come right away. But they keep praying in unbelief." The Faith Jesus was talking about in Mark 11 is the "heart of faith, a spiritual faith, not a head faith.     Most people will believe God has healed them when they see their condition has grown better or When their symptoms are gone. Anyone can believe what they see.     What Jesus was teaching here is that we should believe when we pray and then we will recieve."

Lastly to note, we should forgive before we pray. (Mark 11:25-26) The one thing we should all remember is that no matter who has wronged us or hurt us. We must forgive or our prayers, our spiritual growth will be hindered until we do forgive. Also know that until we forgive, we will not be forgiven. There are countless scriptures that note this very thing through out the bible. We must forgive others whether they ask or not, whether they deserve it or not, in order to be forgiven. Not only is this asked, it is wise to do for spiritual growth. Would you rather carry the baggage the rest of your life and live miserably or would you rather be rid of the baggage and live a joyful peaceful life? Something to ponder over!

I leave you with noted:

Memory Text "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints." Ephesians 6:18.

Just a follow up of yesterday post about the TV and Shows as well as main stream media in general. I got this in my email from a homeschooling magaizine editor. I thought this was a great encourager to add with the one I posted yesterday. There must be a stirring to awaken the eyes of all Gods people.

Controlling the TV in Your Home

Greetings!
We have been married 27 years. We had television reception for maybe two of those, and we haven't missed anything at all (contrary to what everyone else in the public sector keeps telling us). What is shocking is what we see now when we go to a hotel or someone else's house. The strangest thing is that folks would never allow the behavior they witness on television in their own house, but they will allow the viewing of those kinds of behaviors right in their own living room. Besides, its history is revisionist, its science is evolutionary, its news is distorted and biased, its lasciviousness is abhorrent, and its worldview is anti-Christ. On the other hand, televisions can be used for good. I am sure there are good programs out there for the discerning viewer.

We use our TV as a monitor for our video/DVD player, and we observe very carefully what is watched. We continue to collect many Christian and educational videos and DVDs, and they have been greatly enjoyed. Insteadof television channels dictating what goes into our minds, we get to dictate everything that comes out of that television. What comes out of it is what we put in it to be viewed. And for our children's sake, we decide carefully, for what we put into them is what will come out of them as well. We do not want them to be filled with the philosophies of the world; adopting its fads, materialism, and sinful ways; nor bound to a television set or particular show that keeps them from living real life for themselves. We could de-junk our minds and our closets and our piles of clutter with much of the time we have spent on things that entertain. Instead, I suggest finding a way to filter out the filth, or just use the television as a tool for your homeschool, making sure to keep in mind this truth before sitting down in front of the tube: ". . . I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me." Psalm 101:2, 3

How Do I know What Is of God and What is Not? - Encouraging Word

Something I think we all should think about when making decisions today that determine what path we walk down in life. I recently sat in on a discussion about Harry Potter and was it good or bad? Why were so many christians flocking to see HP in theatre?

For a moment I just want say, I am in no way writing this in judgement towards anyone by no means. You are responsible for your own choices and no matter what choice you make, You are still Gods child and He loves you none the less. Although, I am certain He wants each of us to make wiser decisions in some of the areas of our life that we may have made the wrong choice.

With that being said I also want to remind all of us that the bible is clear we are not to judge and what happens to us when we judge. Matthew 7:1-5.

Today in the church there is so much deception lurking. It does not matter what denomination you are or what church you go to. I can honestly say, sadly, that there is not one denomination that is with out deception. That does not mean there are not good firm faith abiding churches out there. The best news of all is: There are churches and leaders out there exposing the deception and bringing forth the truth. Praise God for these leaders and their courageous attempts to bring truth forth and shine some light in the darkeness gulping up believers today.

These churches that are out there allowing things that are BIBLICALLY NOT OK, to be accepted and will be exposed and the TRUTH will come forth, Praise God! Although I got in to a discussion about Harry Potter, Here I am not going that far. I just want to make this post and clearly encourage anyone who may be looking for answers or guidance on what they should do in situations like this.

To my point, the bible is clear in speaking that we, the church body need to be careful with what we allow in our hearts and our thought. Philipians 4:8. Be it music, movies, talk etc. We need to be careful with what we allow in. If what we allow our self or our family to be exposed to is not praiseworth to God, then we ought to know that it is not something we should expose our self or our children to. 1 Corinthians 10:31.

The bible is clear on the directions God has given to help us make the right decisions and to live a good life which he desires for us. It is also clear that it is our job as parents to teach our children right from wrong, what is truth and what is not, how to make the best decisions possible by following the instructions God has given to each one of us in the Bible. Ephesians 6:4 and Proverbs 22:6. In Judges 2:1-4 it talks about another generation growing up with out knowing God or what he has done. To this I ask these questions, Who is raising the families of today? Is it the parents? The church? The TV? Music? What influences are directing families today and people in general? Honestly if we think about it, I am going to say close to 70% of families today are not being made up of Parental leadership. That is my guestimate not a statistical quote. I think it is honestly more then I guessed. But none the less the biggest influence today on kids in particular is TV and New Releases.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
I put this one in particularly because this is what we are seeing so much today in the church. So many are not aware of Gods word and what it says. They may have a copy of the bible but how often do the read it, how often do they live it. My question is this, If its scifi, mystery, murder, love, romance Truth, guidance and etc that people want today, why dont they pick up the word of God? They will find all of the same thing and more in the Bible or do they not realize this? Colossian 2:8 is a great word of advise.
Consider this a moment: Do you approve of adultery and fornication? Would you enjoy watching criminals beat their victims senseless? Could you regard graphic violence or brutal murders entertaining? Would you want your children to learn from immoral or occultic teachers?
I think most of us agree the answer would be - Of course not! Yet, how often don’t we spend time unthinkingly watching such evils on TV? And how often do our children sit in front of the TV and watch such programs? Have you noticed how many of the childrens’ cartoons depict graphic violence, immorality and occultism?

Which of us would allow a stranger to come into our homes and reorganize our furniture? Yet daily we allow strangers, on the television or through magazines and music, to reorganize our thoughts. Surely none of us would tolerate a stranger coming into our home to teach or influence our children! Yet most parents allow strangers to be their single greatest influence on the mental and emotional development of their children – through TV! If were honest a moment we would agree that One of the most serious threats to our children comes through the entertainment industry. Superficial, sensational and immoral material predominates in the modern entertainment industry and it is producing an increasingly superficial, selfish, mindless and immoral society. Romans 1:21, 28 2 Thessolonians 2:10-12

Bottom line :

What we see influences what we think , and what we think influences what we become, and what we do. Ideas have consequences. Actions flow from thought patterns. What form of education is moulding your thought patterns? What entertainment and news media is filling your mind?

Ephesians 5:15-16 and I believe Deuteronomy 6:2-9 is quite clear to all of us.
As parents, we are responsible before God to disciple our children. From the time we wake up, to the time we go to sleep, the Word of God is to govern our conversation and our actions. At home, or on the road, we are to talk about God’s Word. We are to teach our children to memorize Scripture, especially the Ten Commandments. Everything we do with our hands or think with our minds is to be ruled by the Word of God. Our goal is to ensure that we do just as noted in Deuteronomy 6:2.

I apologize it is winded but it sums up what I believe and what the bible is clear on. I do not believe HP is ok. That is my choice. I am not going to judge you if you think it is ok, but I honestly will not pass an opportunity to give insight to what the bible I believe is clear on. :) I hope this makes a bit more sense and I also hope and pray that it is not recieved as being judging by no means.

Chris Tomlin - Let Faith Arise & Encourager

I had to share this with you. It seems as though God has really been speaking through Chris Tomlin to much of us. His songs from his latest CD have spoken so clearly to many of us. For me personally, after the last 5 1/2 years of the literally crummy storm after storm, losing our beloved pastor, gaining a new one that we felt was pulling the church further away from the love of God. Drifting church to church getting settled finally in a church for 3 years but still not home, being led out back to a nutshell then finally being led to now, OUR HOME church being led back to God and living IN the Word, BY the Word of God and being built back up in our Faith, What else can I say...

This song spoke volumes to me, It is how I and I know much of us being in the same if not similar shoes - feel. [ I say this with all the issues going on in the church. ] Chris Tomlin shared about where the birth of this song came from and in specifics it was because of all that was going on through church today and what people were going through. I hope, No I pray this song ministers to you as it has to me and countless others. Friend, I have not been on writing lately because of much of where I was at. God has pulled me out of the debris the surrounded me and is leading me and my family down a new path. I hope to be back on more often and share my journey and encouarge you as you head down the journeys ahead. Until then, Keep your head up, eyes fixed on Christ and please not matter what... Please STAY IN THE WORD OF GOD! All you will need is in the BIBLE! READ IT, LIVE IT, PRAY IT, SPEAK IT --- EVERYDAY! Dont be the one who shows up on Sunday to hear a man preach the word or so you think it is the word and then turn and walk away. How will you know if it truly was the word of God if you dont read it and know it? Please make time even if it is 5 -15 mins a day to read the BIBLE, That is a start and God will do the rest.

We are all apart of a team in one way or another. In the chapter on living life intentionally John shared a story that friend had shared with him. His friend Dwight Bain overheard a Ham radio broadcast one morning and what he overheard was some an advise an older gentleman was sharing:

"It's a shame you have to be away from home and your famliy so much," he said, "Let me tell you something that has helped me keep a good perspective on my own prirorities. You see, one day I sat down and did a little arithmetic. The average person lives 75 years, so I multipled 75 times 52 and came up with 3,900, which is the number of Saturdays the average person has in a lifetime.

"it took me fifty-five years to think about this in any detail." he continued, "and by that time I had lived through 2,800 Saturdays. I got to thinking that if I lived to be seventy-five, I only had about a thousand of those left to enjoy."

He went on to explain that he had bought 1,000 marbles and put them in a clear container in his favorite work area at home. "Every Saturday since then," he said, "I have taken one of the marbles out of the jar and thown it away. I found that by watching the marbles diminish, I focused more on the really important things in life. There's nothing like watching your time here on this earth run out to help you get your priorities straight."

The older gentleman finished, "Now let me tell you one more thing before I sign off and take my lovely wife to breakfast. This morning, I took my last marble out of the container. I figure if I make it until next Saturday, then I have been given a little extra time."

We can't choose whether we will get any more time, but we can choose what we do with it. If you are intentional with what with what you have, then you will make the most out of the time and talent that God gives you.

Chris Tomlin - "I lift my hands"

As I sit and listen to this song and recap these last 5 years in the church. It brings back sad moments and happy moments now as I thank God for bringing my family and I to where we are now. I have shared in the past about a new uprise in many churches sweeping the country and even globally. [Seeker Friendly Trend]
As I sit back and watch this trend come in to the churches and literally brain wash the people with such deception like I have never seen. I am baffeled how so many fall in to it, but at the same time I see that time is short and there is an enemy in a hurry doing all he can do to leur those away from the truth. I am greatful to God for sparing our family and keeping us sheltered in him.

By no means do I post this to attack Rick Warrens seeker friendly followers. God loves all of you as he loves all of us. It just concerns me to this trend and what is being taught. Some of it seems to sound so good to leur those in and then smack em with untruth. Please understand that there is no truth in doing things Mans way. There should be no shame in talking about Christ and allowing him to do things his way to draw the people in. People dont care about stupid games or fun in the church, they are coming in because they are broken and searching for answers that they can not find no where else. So exempt speaking or witnessing about Christ and bring out all the fun to leur people in. If this is not mans way, I dont know what is... I speak from experience as atteneded a few churches, one being my home church at one time, and as I atteneded in a few of these churches I started seeing the pull away from God and the push to allow Mans way first.

I left a church which happened to be my home church for many years. When it fell to a new pastor who decided to shake up the church and the way we should believe. Might I clear that by no means are all of these churches as bad upfront at first like my old one. But some are and others are heading that way. Churches use to take God at his word, come in expecting him to show up and move. Today, Many churches are walking away from the word of God in this trend. New comers to the church are not grounded biblically and are merely told to take the pastor at his word, or the pastor knows best. There is to much ridiculing, belittling and telling people from the pulpit that God is disappointed in them, does not care about them or things like if you leave this church you will go to hell because you are defying Gods plan for you. I nearly told a pastor he would go to hell for telling the people this, but I backed off and left that one for God to have.. Things like this are wrong.

I want to thank the few churches that are still out there, that are sticking to Gods word reaching out to the people and allowing God to do things His way. Your churches, congregations and ministries, will be blessed and soar like you have never seen before holding on to your faith in Christ. Keep up the good work. I pray and speak many blessings over these churches and congregations, families, ministries. For these followers of the seeker friendly trend, I just want to tell you, we are all praying for you to see truth. I keep you in prayer to find refuge in Christ and may He lead you out in to the truth. God loves you so much and if you ever have a pastor saying, God does not care about you, God is disappointed in you, God will not save you, -- Please know, Your pastor or that pastor is lying.

I could sit here all day and list scriptures that tell you that God loves you, UNCONDITIONALLY! [1 Corinthians 13] That clearly speak against this trend, but I dont want to be here all day. I will wrap it up with this, I encourage you to sit atleast 15 minutes a day, pray and open up your bible and begin reading your word. Pray about where to begin, I would encourage you to begin in John but pray for guidance, God does answer you. He does not only speak to the pastors of the church, you are his child and he hears you and will answer you. All through out the bible it tells us God loves loves and cares for us. I encourage you, just this once, please take God at His word. It wont happen over night, remember his timing is not ours..

This song blessed me as I heard it and reminded me of all the hardships we went through over the years being led away from God to now being led back to Him in a faith based denomination. I am reminded of so much and this just marks the beginning of a new in Christ.. I hope you enjoy this song as I have.

Powerful word on "LOVE"

1Corinthians 13:4-7,13 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, boastful, proud or rude. It does not demand its own way! It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Three things WILL last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is LOVE.

Of this post tonight, I am not just reaching out to the Married or Dating in a relationship. I am reaching out to EVERYONE. Sinner and Saint. So many people today DO NOT have any idea of what TRUE LOVE really is! No matter what we go through in our life in ALL the relationships we have, Friend, Foe, Dating, Marital... We need to learn how to Truly Love, UNCONDITIONALLY Love, EVERYONE! Like it or not, this is commanded of us. No matter what they [others involved] have said or done, We must learn to love them. [as noted above in 1 Corinthians]

Please allow me to break this down for you as I read this tonight, noting the above scripture -Love is PATIENT in ALL Circumstances, with EVERYONE! It is KIND, [we do not speak out of anger]. Love is NOT jealous or boastful, It is NOT proud or rude. [We should not brag about our love to anyone or about ourself, We should NOT be jealous of others or others situations or their blessings. We should NOT be so proud -- that we can not admit our wrongs or confess them to the ones we have wronged!] Love does NOT demand its own way, EVER! [Love is NOT SELFISH. Love does not place ones self above others - EVER!]

Love is NOT irritable [at anytime in anything], It keeps NO RECORD of being wronged. [I am just as guilty throwing up some wrongs that my own husband has hurt me in. We should never hold our wounds caused by another over their head. God is forgiving and we should be forgiving.. Forgetting is hard and in most cases, we can not ever forget, but that does not mean we keep throwing that wrong back up in the others face hurting them like they hurt us. The healing begins when we confess our wrong and sincerely apologize to the ones we have hurt and totally surrender to God our wounds allowing his healing to begin.]

It does NOT rejoice about all of our INJUSTICES, IT REJOICES when TRUTH is WON! [What does whining about old wounds really do for us, [again just as guilty] We never really get results when we complain about all the pain one has caused, We never get results when complaining about never having our own way. RESULTS come when TRUTH is ACCEPTED and Change has come.] TRUE LOVE NEVER gives up, NEVER loses faith and is ALWAYS hopeful! [Too many people are sooo quick to give up on their relationships. Why throw it all away for nothing? Be it courting an other, marital, family or friendship. When we give up on our loved one[s] - we have allowed the enemy to rob us of the victory that was already won by Christ at Calvary. DONT GIVE UP on the ones you love- EVER! Hold on to FAITH, HOPE and LOVE unconditionally the same LOVE God gives to all of us.] LOVE will get us through the difficult times if we can TRULY LOVE with an UNCONDITIONAL Love.

Ask yourself this, What is the God Kind of Love? Do you know? [Scroll to the top of this post and you will see, 1Corinthians 13:7-14] You see, There are 2 kinds of Love. You are probably saying, What do you mean? How? Well, There is Gods Love and then there is Natural Human Love. Whats the difference? Natural human love is always willing and ready to accept and believe the worst in every person. It never has anything good to say about the other person. The Natural Human love is HURTFUL, HATEFUL, REVENGEFUL, Its Curses and Fusses all the time. It is just plain MEAN! Gods Love is always ready to accept and believe the best, the good in every person. It never has anything negative to say about others. Gods Love bears up under anything and everything that comes. Gods love, IS NOT interested in What it can get, It IS interested in What it can give! We can go over the countless times we all have said, "I cannot stand this person anymore or what they do, I cannot take this or that anymore." Think about this one thing, GOD PUTS UP WITH YOU!

In the moments you want to give up on the other or speak negative about the other, remember this, God has put up with you [each of us] continuously and yet he still loves you [us] unconditionally!

IF YOU WALK IN LOVE --- GODS LOVE --- LOVE WILL NEVER FAIL!

Something I read tonight I want to share :-: The Love of God is in ALL of our hearts, but it may be like a talent that was wrapped in a napkin and hidden in the earth. We may not use it but that Love of God is in our hearts. If we would learn to use it, and learn to let that love dominate us, it would make a difference in our lives. It would cure the ills in our homes. This kind of Love has never been to a divorce court, and will NEVER go. It is natural human love that sees the divorce court on a regular basis. Natural human love can turn to hatred when it doesn't get its way. Natural human love WILL fight, fuss, claw, knock, cuss and be mean. Divine Love, when it is reviled, revileth NOT again.

The God-Kind of Love is NOT interested in What I can get—but in What I can give!

In all your days in every relationship - be one who is willing to show the God kind of Love. One who is loving unconditionally no matter what the circumstances are, in the good times and in the bad. If you are arguing with your friends, your courting partner or your spouse. Always be sure you tell them you love them no matter how upset with them you are. IF your wrong or right, Tell them you love them and sincerely mean it. Dont forget to SHOW them that love.

People can be stubborn, I know I live with one and I am one. However, I admit, I believe my husband is the worst of all stubborn ones. My confession, I am sure I will hear it later. :) I know what it is like to feel the Natural Human Love and I know what it is like to give it. Over the years I have been blessed with the learning of how to give the God Kind Of Love to others. I am not afraid to show it, however I do admit it is still hard to let go of the hurts ones you love so much have caused you. But I can say this, over the years I have learned and I am still learning to love unconditionally. With out this love, I can honestly say, I would not be the person I am today. Honestly, I not ashamed to admit, my marriage would of been disolved before it ever took off. Sure like others we go through hardships, more then most do. But none the less, as angry as I get at my husband, I will always love him unconditionally, no matter how many wounds he has ripped open in me. Someday he will learn Gods way of loving unconditionally. Until that day comes, well I will have to learn to bite my tongue and love as Christ loves you and me.

Dont just celebrate your love for your significant other on Valentines day. Celebrate it everyday...

Greetings to all of our Salt Covenant Partners and friends across the nation and around the world.

For the past few days the world has been watching the Middle East implode! The streets of the nation of Egypt have been packed with riots and bloodshed. The Administration of Mubarak is apparently coming to an end. From my sources of information, I believe the Muslim Brotherhood is now in the driver's seat to determine the future of Egypt.

The American media, with the exception of FOX News, is presenting the Muslim Brotherhood as moderate and lovers of democracy. This is utter nonsense. This is the hysterical jabber of our State Department that once again has fumbled the ball in the Middle East.

Making a long story short; if the Egyptian drama works out like the Fall of the Shah in Iran in 1979 (and I think it will) there will be a person approved of the Muslim Brotherhood to become Egypt's new leader. He will appear initially as a moderate and within a few weeks embrace Sharia which is the Islamic law that now governs Iran.

Israel will be surrounded by hostile nations screaming for their blood! America's economy is determined by the price of oil and Egypt will have the power to block the Suez Canal and Iran will have the power to block the Straight of Hormuz.

Result? America's economic future will be determined by nations that hate us and call us the Great Satan.

What are you seeing happen in the Middle East prophetically? You are seeing the King of the South come together with lightning speed.

Egypt has an army of one million men armed with 1500 Abram Tanks which are America's best. We sold them to Egypt along with hundreds of our latest and greatest fighter jets because Egypt was controlled by Mubarak who was America's friend.

Can you imagine what Israel faces with Iran, Egypt, Syria, Turkey and Russia coming after them? The prophet Ezekiel clearly predicted this battle thousands of years ago and you are watching the players get into position with lightning speed.

Jesus said: "When you see these signs, lift up your head and rejoice. Your redemption draweth nigh." Simply stated: The King is coming! Get ready! Planet earth is about to become the playground for the Anti-Christ and his New World Order. The church will be raptured before the Anti-Christ appears; and I believe he could be introduced in Europe at any time. Pray up! Pack up! We're going up...and very soon. 1 Samuel 13: 1-7 nlt Saul was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned for forty-two years. Saul selected 3,000 special troops from the army of Israel and sent the rest of the men home. He took 2,000 of the chosen men with him to Micmash and the hill country of Bethel. The other 1,000 went with Saul’s son Jonathan to Gibeah in the land of Benjamin. Soon after this, Jonathan attacked and defeated the garrison of Philistines at Geba. The news spread quickly among the Philistines. So Saul blew the ram’s horn throughout the land, saying, “Hebrews, hear this! Rise up in revolt!” All Israel heard the news that Saul had destroyed the Philistine garrison at Geba and that the Philistines now hated the Israelites more than ever. So the entire Israelite army was summoned to join Saul at Gilgal. The Philistines mustered a mighty army of 3,000[c] chariots, 6,000 charioteers, and as many warriors as the grains of sand on the seashore! They camped at Micmash east of Beth-aven. 6 The men of Israel saw what a tight spot they were in; and because they were hard pressed by the enemy, they tried to hide in caves, thickets, rocks, holes, and cisterns. Some of them crossed the Jordan River and escaped into the land of Gad and Gilead.

When we forget who is on our side or see only our own resources, we tend to panic at the sight of the opposition. The Israelites became terrified and hid when they saw the mighty Philistine Army. They for got that God was on their side and that HE couldn't be defeated. As you face problems and temptations focus your attention on God and his resources, trustin Him to help you.

[Romans 8:31-37] 31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

I voted did you? My polling place was a few minutes up the street. I was swetting if I would have my truck before polls closed so I hopped on my bike and road. Was there in 5 minutes and back home safe again.

I hope everyone made it out to vote. If you havent already, please get out and do so. Your vote is extremely important in the future of this country.

"No one has the right to complain about the direction of this country if they are not willing to go out and vote."

Its a privelage we as Americans have to go out and vote. Lets all take advantage of this privelage and right to vote.

Making Your Home A Haven Week 5

Week #5 Challenge: Focus on the kitchen, the heart of the home. Cook things with pleasant aromas. Pick a meal the family can cook together - include everyone in a task and take pictures so everyone can remember moments in the kitchen together - test tasting, being creative, laughing and loving. Remove discontentment with your home or family and give thanks to God.

This so hits home with me. You have heard me talk about my Thyroid being a constant issue because food effects your thyroid in more ways then one. So this is what I have been striving to work best at. Making better choices, planning for meals and what better way to do so then all the fall fun baking we have been doing over the last three weeks or so. We have made apple struesel bread, Apple butter umpteen times in the last month alone. Lol. Now I have turned to an other part of cooking. Choosing to bake my own bread for our meals rather then splurge and buy from the store. Preparing courses off of creativity and out of the normal. Not the usual hurry on the go meals we have been used to. Sure I love to cook, but this last year alone I have just been wooped if you catch my drift. But I can feel the burning in me for wanting to do more homemade cooking like the old homestead way vs the what is fast and easy so we can go or move on to the next agenda.

I want my children to have memories of family time at the table with enjoyed meals not slop that was thrown together, aside of that I want them to learn to make healthy choices rather then what is fast and somewhat filling.

A few days out of last week we actually had healthy tastey meals, now this week, I have a few more spruses up my sleeve. Hearty choices of meats, Sautee veggies, Crock Pot goodies, Lets not leave out the Pumpkin baking, Bread making, dessert tasting plans me and my oldest daughter are lining up for this week. I never did things like this with my parents growing up, I actually dont want to think about a lot of those memories as some are pretty terrible. But what legacies can I pass on to my children for them to cherish, Now that is top on my list to give them a midst other precious things to hand over later between now and later on. This weeks challenge settles in my spirit so much as this has been my hearts desire for a while now.

I have enjoyed these last few weeks that I have been participating. My spirit is so much more pleasant then I would say before. We still hit our rough ends but the results are so much more better then before.

Making your home a haven....

So I have actually missed the last two hops. We have had some wild rides these last two weeks. Personally came under a verbal and spiritual attack. Our truck decided to become either angered or just an upset truck who maybe is battling a tummy ache and just cant seem to feel better. :( [Please Lord, relieve the trucks tummy ache.] A close family member losing a family member as well as having two other members being diagnosed at the same time with Cancer. Then to well really it was just one thing after an other these last two weeks.. Not to mention that part of my trouble dealing with thyroid is forgetting or irritablity. I have found that when I cut back on water, I have the hardest time on remembering. That means forgetting if I took my medicine which I have none the less taken twice in one day at least a few times. [eeps!] The hubby is helping me remember that one better.

Yes, sounds crazy, but water helps your memory more then we all realize. Ug, but I am back and ready to hop on board. Glad to be back with other fellow mommies in the midst of this challenge..

The title of this weeks post is "To give our children a happy childhood and lots of happy moments!" That is something I have strived for a very long time. Thankfully I think thus far we have done very well. But there are tid bits along the way I wish I could of changed or hope in the future to avoid. One thing is the amount of Daddy time. We seldom have much of it. So that is going to change I am sure in the future. I am believing and holding on to God that he will provide for that. Other things are the impatient moments. We all are learning and teaching eachother and that is one thing we all need to have be it family or friends. Patience! We hear the old saying often, Patience is a virtue. Really it is. But it is so important that we all have it and use it the way God intended it.

I am reminded of what 1 Corinthians says;
1 Corinthians 13:1 ¹If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

--- I pray that I am quick to stop any speaking out of frustrations, but be silenced long enough to return speaking with a peaceful, loving and patient voice. ---

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly [inappropriate]; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails;.....

How I yearn to be just as God called me to be. I am so blessed even in the midst of the storms, I am so blessed, to have a father who loves me unconditionally and has the patience with me to teach me even in my frustrations. He is still loving and patient with me until I catch on to what it is he wants me to know.

As we pick this weeks challenge up, I pray we all be blessed, be patient as our father is with us and fill our homes and family with many joy and peaceful moments to come. God Bless you all!

During your tender moment with the family, ask them how they feel about this challenge. Are they enjoying it? Is it helpful? Is there anything they would change. Give your family listening ears.
She notes, Accept this challange and be intentional about physically reaching out and touching your family this week. No matter how old your children are, they are craving tender affection. Take the time to slow down and fulfill this need.

October is Breast Cancer and Down Syndrome Awareness Month

Please say a prayer for the families and friends of both Breast Cancer and Down Syndrome. Also take a moment to read up more about Breast Cancer and Down Syndrome.

Please know I am extremely passionate about these beautiful babies with DS that have been neglected, rejected and unaccepted and unloved by much of our society today. Its time people get educated and start appreciating the precious gift, LIFE in the way it was given. DS children are blessings from God just like any other child. Please be courteous and patient with families who have children with DS and any other Special Needs. These familes are a blessing to face the difficult challenges they are faced with daily while caring for their precious loved one.

If you are eager to anger when around these families, All I ask is that you try to walk a mile in their shoes before you criticize or place judgement.

Making Your Home A Haven

Ok, so I ran across this terrificly great blog and this post by Courtney - "Making Your Home A Haven". This is my first time linking up and I am really excited. She has a lot of great tips on her blog. But this recent blog meme really has captured my attention. I want so desperately to be the Home Mom # 2. This week I will join up and strive along with other moms to be a
Proverbs 14:1 Woman. "The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down."

This has really hit home with me and I am really excited about the changes that are ahead and praying for a refreshing touch from my father up above. Something that really got me thinking was her question, What makes a haven? Take a moment and ask yourself this very same question. We all strive to have the neat and clean home, neatly decorated. Some of us strive a little more then others. Near to perfection. Sad but the true thing is, We will never see perfection on this earth until we are in the presence of our father.

I strive so hard to be the woman I know God wants me to be. I strive to keep my house clean, Not always am I successful. Honestly, I used to be so completely humiliated truthfully to have some one in my home while it is a mess. Few dishes in sink one thing but a days worth, I would absolutely flip. I have 3 toddlers [3,4, & 5 and a 12 yo] All are pretty good about keeping picked up, but there are days that well, in a nutshell; If you pop over at my house and my house was a mess, before we answer the door we would do a - everybody grab something and run it up stairs to where it belongs in 5-4-3-2-1 and ok ready - Open the door. Lol! [Seriously! ] I hated being like this and still do when I feel the urge, I fight so hard to shove it to the side.

I have honestly never been like this before. It just seems that over the years and the pregnancies that I literally have to strive harder to be neat and sometimes I honestly over do it. Yack. All that makes is more stress with the everyday pressures of life already on the shoulders. YUCK! I have to honestly say, I am getting better. If there are few things out of place and someone stops over, I can live with the, Ah, Its out of place, I will get it later - Not a big deal. We have all strived to stay on a routine to keep up after everything, for the most part I have really worked hard to let things roll off my back so that we can enjoy more of the family life and less of the stress or added pressures.

In the last year I was told I had Hypothyroid - and literally the smallest thing would trigger me to flip out and be stressed. I would be an emotional basket case. With the Lords help, my husband and kids, I am actually getting better with the { I think I am going to scream } moments. Lol! So doing this blog hop, I am confident will help me tremendously. I know I was led to this blog for a reason.

What is Spiritual Deception?

Deception: The act of deceiving or the state of being deceived by an other. To Trick, use of something that deceives or is intended to deceive; the use of fraud; artifice. [Artifice is a clever trick or stratagem; a cunning, crafty device or expedient; wile. Form of trickery; guile; craftiness. A cunning; ingenuity; inventiveness: a drawing-room comedy crafted with artifice and elegance. A skillful or artful contrivance or expedient.]

Spiritual Deception: is the result of not following or obeying the Word of God. When a believer adopts any thought, doctrine, or practice which is contrary to God’s written word then he enters into the spiritual darkness of heresy and deception.

For the last 4-5 years I have been wrestling and praying about this new culture and trend spreading through our churches and country as well as places around the world carrying a large amount of deception to all of Gods children, sinner and saint. I never thought it would hit so close to home and in my life time. Not now! O how the return of Christ is near. So much deception is storming within the church and our christian faiths and believers all over, Thus including our leaderships, our congregations, our everyday cultures.

The bible says in the last days we will see departure from the True “faith once delivered to the saints,” from Gods Holy Word. How we are seeing it happen before our very eyes today. In the last year my heart has become heavy burdened about some deceptions God has shown me near and abroad. Some have come to pass and some have yet to be pass. My heart grows heavier the more God shows me and leads me to pray. It has been very hard to watch the change of the church and those whom follow at abroad, as well as those I love so dear whom are close to our family while they fall blindly in to the traps of deception.

Jude 1:3  ³Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.

We see this to be true with the short time given to satan before Christs Return. The deceptions of the enemy lurk Everywhere and effect Everyone. All Gods children are being led away from him with these new trends and deceptions. Be alerted children of God as He moves in to show you the truths and reveal these deceptions and those who are out to deliberately deceive. In the noted scriptures below [a midst various others] God is warning us these very things will happen  while approaching the last days.

Revelation 12:12  ¹²"For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only short time."
Matthew 24:24  ²⁴"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
1 Peter 5:8  ⁸Be of sober spirit, be on the alert Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Not only has Satan sent "false" Christs into the world to capture the hearts of those who do not know the true God and Saviour, but he has also commissioned deceivers, false brethren to promote a form of Christianity to seduce believers who do not abide in God’s written word. {Thus being known as this new "SEEKER FRIENDLY TREND!" Less of God more of Man!}

Galatians 2:4 ⁴But it was because of the false brethren secretly brought in, who had sneaked in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to bring us into bondage.

Believers all over are being fooled/tricked by signs, wonders, and false miracles performed by the latest deceptionally blessed leader/speaker to come on to the scene. They fail to acknowledge Paul’s warning about this very thing.
2 Corinthians 11:14-15 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.

These followers fail to become Bereans, better known as those who “search the scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.” [see Acts 17:11 noted] Therefore these followers or professed believers allow “wolves in sheep’s clothing” [see Matthew 7:15 noted] to minister a corrupted gospel to them. These teachers are really “ravening” and “grievous wolves” who do not care for the people in the least, but instead speak “perverse things, to draw away disciples after them” [see Acts 20:29-30 noted]. At the root of the deception is “a source of corruption [see Matthew 6:24 noted] for they “through their greed, will use false stories or excuses to make merchandise” of their followers [see 2 Peter 2:3 noted]. This is a perfect description of the Wealth and Health preachers of today.

I share this from my heart as my spirit has been stirring for sometime now and I feel like this is something God wants and needs His children to know and to be alert on. Listen, in all honesty, Our God is God! He has not changed. He is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.  Nothing and No one can say or should be saying any different. God loves you! He loves ALL of His children, Sinners and Saints! He is a Loving, Forgiving and Merciful Father, whom hates the very site of sin. He will discipline and correct All of His children as He sees the need for correction or discipline. Sin is sin! Our bible is clear on what God considers sin. Deception is sin! God is shaking the foundations of the Church to open the eyes of all His children who are blindfully led in to this deception.

If you can spare an other moment or two, please take the time to view this footage I added below. I really wish more and more preachers would fall back on God and start speaking the Truth from Gods word. There is such an intimidating spirit out there lurking amongst Gods people within the church and in the world. So many people lose sight of what intimidation is so I have added the best definitions found to describe it below.

Intimidation: To make timid, To feel with fear, As through the force of personality or by superior display of wealth, To control, To Frighten or Terrify, To discourage, To force into or deter from some action by inducing fear.

Be careful of the cultivated atmosphere also as it lurks with in the spiritual deception. Please note again the definition for use.

Cult: A form of control, power, A religion or sect considered to be false, unorthodox, or extremist, often times with members living outside of conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader [Note that not always is this the case]; Educated; Cultured; An instance of great veneration of a person, ideal, or thing, esp. as manifested by a body of admirers; attracting a small group of devotees.

Please get IN TO Gods word! Read your bible daily and pray! If you hear something that IS NOT in Gods word then you should NOT believe it or follow it. I also want to make one other point. EVERYONE CAN HEAR GOD SPEAK! There is not just one person who can hear from God. God speaks to everyone, if we are willing to hear him. If someone claims that God said this or that, you will know because he would told you the same thing or something that is closely in line to what was said. You will also know it was of God because HE will NOT leave it or us! HE will see what ever it is He said or promised and He will see us through to the very end! He fulfills His plans, No matter what they are or who it may be with. God will never abandon His Word or His Children!

President Obama:

Today I read of your administrations' plan to re-define September 11 as a National Service Day. Sir, it's time we had a talk.........

During your campaign, Americans watched as you made mockery of our tradition of standing and crossing your heart when the Pledge of Allegiance was spoken. You, out of four people on the stage, were the only one not honoring our tradition.

YES, "We noticed."

During one of your many speeches, Americans heard you say that you intended to visit all 57 states.

We all know that Islam, not America has 57 states.

YES, "We noticed."

When President Bush leaned over at Ground Zero and gently placed a flower on the memorial, while you nonchalantly tossed your flower onto the pile without leaning over.

YES, "We noticed."

Every time you apologized to other countries for America's position on an issue we have wondered why you don't share our pride in this great country. When you have heard foreign leaders berate our country and our beliefs, you have not defended us. In fact, you insulted the British Crown beyond belief.

YES, "We noticed."

When your pastor of 20 years, "God-D***** America " and said that 9/11 was " America 's chickens coming home to roost" and you denied having heard recriminations of that nature, we wondered how that could be. You later disassociated yourself from that church and Pastor Wright because it was politically expedient to do so.

YES, "We noticed."

When you announced that you would transform America, we wondered why. With all her faults, America is the greatest country on earth. Sir, KEEP THIS IN MIND, "if not for America and the people who built her, you wouldn't be sitting in the White House now." Prior to your election to the highest office in this Country, you were a senator from Illinois and from what we can glean from the records available, not a very remarkable one.
YES, "We noticed."

All through your campaign and even now, you have surrounded yourself with individuals who are basically unqualified for the positions for which you appointed them. Worse than that, the majority of them are people who, like you, bear no special allegiance, respect, or affection for this country and her traditions.

YES, "We noticed."

You are into your term and every morning millions of Americans wake up to a new horror heaped on us by you. You seek to saddle working Americans with a health care/insurance reform package that, along with cap and trade, will bankrupt this nation.

YES, "We noticed."

We seek, by protesting, to let our representatives know that we are not in favor of these crippling expenditures and we are labeled "un-American", "racist", "mob". We wonder how we are supposed to let you know how frustrated we are. You have attempted to make our protests seem isolated and insignificant. Until your appointment, Americans had the right to speak out.

YES, "We noticed."

On September 11, 2001 there were no Republicans or Democrats, only Americans. And we all grieved together and helped each other in whatever way we could. The attack on 9/11 was carried out because we are Americans.
And YES, "We noticed."

There were many of us who prayed that as a black president you could help unite this nation. In six months you have done more to destroy this nation than the attack on 9/11.

You have failed us!
YES, "We noticed."

September 11 is a day of remembrance for all Americans. You propose to make 9/11 a "National Service Day". While we know that you don't share our reverence for 9/11, we pray that history will report your proposal as what it is...a disgrace.

You have made a mockery of our Constitution and the office that you hold. You have embarrassed and slighted us in foreign visits and policy.
YES, "We noticed.."

We have noticed all these things. We will deal with you. When Americans come together again, it will be to remove you from office.

Complacency = Content. To be content is unacceptable to God!

When we are content with: Our Surroundings, Our Walk, Our Church, Our Life Outside of the Church, WE DO NOT WORK OUR BEST FOR GOD! WE should NEVER settle for Second Best, When God wants us to HAVE THE BEST!

Our life is a gift given to us from the our Heavenly Father. In this life, It IS NOT about us at all. It is about HIM All the way. Our decisions should be carefully made and not made to satisfy Our Needs or Our Wants!

It bothers me when I hear someone say, I am going to do this or that because it will make me happier then I am now about this or that. I dont mean this the way it will come across, but WHO CARES if you are happy or not! We should learn to be pleased and greatful about our situation, then be happy about it. We have to learn to accept what we have before us, good or bad. Accept what we have and where we are before we can get all the HAPPY Desires we seek to have. When we accept our situation or where God has us and learn what it is God is trying to teach us, Then we can move on. Sometimes it takes us years before we even get that!

My question to those are this: Did you ever wonder about your situation and why you may be there in the first place? Did you ever think that maybe God has you where you are for a reason? It is not always about you or me. I have to admit once I was there, but over the years and really digging after God I have learned to try look at the circumstance a little different and not from my eye view but try looking at it from Gods eye view. NO, it is not always easy. I have to say over these last 5 years, I am really getting tired of the whiney christian complaining about - Where they are and Why are they there, or Why Me? Then I hear others say, I am not happy because of this or that, so I will go back to the moment where I was before I was in this circumstance. Do you really think going backwards is going to make things better? Obviously NOT, things will only get better when we move forward accepting what is being dealt to us and press through our circumstances. One would say to be Content is to be lukewarm. [Revelations 3: 14-22] You decide...

Dive in a moment with me as I explain. I am not on a rant, really, I am just so tired of hearing people whine about their wants, and not really seeing the bigger picture. I realize not everyone has been on a learning growth like myself and my family. I know everyone is growing and in different levels. But much of a crowd of people I know appear to be growing backwards in a sense I guess you could say. I mean, Heck if we really want to get griddy, I want a new house for my family that has enough room for all of us and some land for my kids to play on! I want to be debt free with all or finances paid off - We are getting there but it is not over night! I want out of this city and into the country, I want a life with no stress in it! I want..... I want..... I want.... It doesnt really matter what I want. We have to earn our wants by doing our part in order to get the things in life we want. Dont we understand our life is not about us at all! When we do for God what he aks us to do, We are faithful to him, HE WILL GIVE BACK IN RETURN. Where we are is for a purpose? Not because he wants us there, not becuase we are being punished. We are there to learn and share what we have learned to help others grow strong to and build a foundation IN HIM and share HIM with others.

For instance, God lead us from our home church to an other and it was hard. But I was relieved to have the stress from our old church off of my back. I knew it was temporal as later on the Lord would call us back to our home church again Temporal. It was the hardest thing in the world to do to go back to a messy situation that still was being worked on at our old church. We were just getting settled in our new church, we had been there for 3 years and now we had to leave to go back to an atmosphere of caos and an unsettled foundation within in our old church. Why did we have to go back? Trust me, I whined on that! It didnt take me long to figure out I had to learn to submit to a pastor that honestly, had much to learn. Heck we all have much to learn!

For the most part, there was a lot of disagreements on his belief, his leading or handling of others, the contradictions, critisims, some deception and so much more. Learning to submit even when you dont agree on everything, that is really hard. Why? I will tell you why, HE WAS THE PASTOR IN CHARGE! The flock leader of that church and whether I [and WE], liked it or not, I had to learn to submit. When things were not right and there was an inconsistancy in Gods Truth vs Mans Word when the Lord released me to speak up I did speak up and when I was not released to speak, I had to learn to keep my mouth shut. OUCH! There were other things that many churches experience. GOSSIPING CROWDS!

The Lord wanted me to stand clear of all the talk. Instead of joining in on the Gossip, [Who can resist badgering one that is disturbingly aggravating to you - I did it though and I am proud of myself for doing it! Dont act like your innocent because at some point everyone has fell into the realms of gossiping.] I stood firm on what was TRUTH and if it was wrong I spoke up and made it clear to ones around me that it was wrong and what the bible said about it. Some accepted it and moved on, others bit back or walked off never to conversate again. It didnt matter to me if I had friends or not after that.
Truth is, I am not living for my friends, I am living for Christ and what I believe. What is wrong is wrong as what is right is right. BUT TIMING is everything. Learning when Gods timing is the most important thing to know. Some could sit and tare this man up behind his back, and if I wanted to I could join in on the ripping of this man or I could stand up and speak up - not in his defense but clearly in Gods eyes, Maybe God was actually trying to work on this problem or that and it was going unnoticed. So yes, I learned to not defend the man, but speak up that it acutally may not be all Him, Maybe God was trying to do something through him or through the situation[s]. Kinda of confusing huh! In other words, It may of seemed like I was defending this pastor but really I was defending what God may be doing through him or what he may be trying to teach him.Things DO Happen for a purpose! We just have to learn to see these things through GOD's Eyes

Now, understand me, all of this is not put off on the new pastor as there were others within our old church that had just as much of a responibility in these problems, But I will openly admit a great deal was him. I can not think of one person that did not butt-heads with this man. EVEN ME! I think I was maybe the 5th in line to do the head butting. I am honestly not proud of that either. I think circumstances with all of us [including him] got overly hot and escalated out of control leading us to some of the results we got. I will admit that. Over the last 5+ years now since all of this happened, back at our new church God took my family and I through a major time of fasting and growing in HIM. Learning to see God in a clearer view and learning to listen to Gods voice. Now it is not always easy and we are not perfect but we did at least learn a lot about the past situations inolving our old church and our new journey we were facing and continue to face. For myself, I learned to love and respect this pastor, like God called me to and that was a huge accomplishment for me. I did not go back to this church because I missed my friends or old church family. Of course I do, But my walk is not about them. I truthfully can not let my feelings for them hinder my call from God. I certainly didnt go back to prove a point or do anything other THEN What God Called me and my family back to do. I gained and lost friends and I am not so sad about that really. Friends will come and go all through out my life. I can not be content in my life being afraid of what new things may come my way or what new directions God is calling me and my family in. I love all of them very much and I do miss them very much. But I learned to appreciate what I had with them once and accepted that God has plans for my family and I in a different place. If we went back now we are bound to fall in some sort of content mode and we would not move in the direction we are being lead to. What does all of this have to do with this post? MUCH!

I could of stayed content with the situation not doing anything about the problem[s], When God gave us the tools we needed to do something about the problem[s] or I could of used His tools to make the situation better. Which I learned to do just that. Use HIS TOOLs!

When we complain about situations, How we feel, What we want and Why are we not getting it fulfilled and more, WE ARE NOT GETTING A CLEARER VIEW OF THE BIGGER PICTURE, or WHAT GOD WANTS FOR US! We dont want to see through his eyes! We want to see through our eyes because we think we know what is best for us. We base that on what we see, [losing our faith] How we feel in general and about the circumstances. Thus leading to forget Gods Word!

God has a plan for all of us [Jeremiah 29:11], A job for each of us to accomplish. [1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12: 6 - a misdst other scrips in bible], We cannot get our jobs done sitting in a content mode allowing ALL the wrongs to walk forth in no correction. Standing up for Christ IS a part of: Our Job, Our Learning and Our Growth. There is NO GREATER TRUTH THEN CHRIST.

It bothers me to see Christians today, Sit in content with their surroundings while complaining or whining about what is going on. The truth is, WE HAVE THE POWER TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Gods Word tells us all we need to live daily. When we face things like this we are not to sit in content or Complacency. [Look all around us today in this world. What has Complacency gotten us? Absolutely NOTHING! In fact the only thing it did bring is trouble for the Christian believer. Look at our Constitutional Rights and how many of them are under attack or have been violated. What have we done about it? NOTHING. Some are fighting and trying to do something about it, but for the most part others just sit in Complacency.]

Complacency = Content. To be content is unacceptable to God!

Here are a few healthful tips to improve health/fitness.

To Improve Nutrition --

1. Buy whole foods -- whether canned, frozen, or fresh from

the farm -- and use them in place of processed foods when-

ever possible.

2. Reject foods and drinks made with corn syrup, a calorie-

dense, nutritionally empty sweetener that many believe is

worse for the body than sugar.

3. Start each dinner with a mixed green salad. Not only will

it help reduce your appetite for more caloric foods, but

it also will automatically add veggies to your meal.

To Improve Physical Fitness --

1. Do a squat every time you pick something up. Instead of

bending over in the usual way, which stresses the lower

back, bend your knees and squat. This forces you to use

your leg muscles and will build strength.

2. Every time you stop at a traffic light (or the bus does),

tighten your thighs and butt muscles and release as many

times as you can. (Don't worry, no one will see it!) This

will firm leg and buttock muscles, improve blood flow and

keep you mildly amused!

3. Whenever you're standing on a line, lift one foot a half-

inch off the ground. The extra stress on your opposite

foot, ankle, calf and thigh, plus your buttocks, will help

firm and tone muscles. Switch feet every few minutes.

Here is the YouTube on it. Really, Screaming child ban, I think some people should just be slapped for their nerve sometime. I know some parents can handle their kids and really just dont, but other parents can not help why their kids are screaming. Special needs children, fussy babies. Really, some can not help it. Get a grip. I know there are a lot of kids misbehaved that are not diciplined and they should be, but their are a lot of kids that are well behaved and are diciplined whom rarely act up and then there are cases like infants and special needs that you can not help. GET OVER IT PEOPLE!

I hate to admit, but I would be proned to make a point and make them suffer it until they got my point. I am that way I guess I dont let people walk on me or make my decisions. I have a heart and I will stand up when I see it is needed. I am not a wimp and I dont cower back when I see an injustice.

We are already seeing the push for children to grow up by fashion trend and added insecurites. GET a GRIP on it. This is life, Kids are Kids and then they grow up. We all were kids once learn to live with it like the rest of us do.

When we lift our hands we enter in to a covenant with God. -

Raising our hands strengthens us in battle and arms the angelic forces.

Exodus 17: 11-13 When Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed; and when he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy and grew weary. So [the other men] took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Praise our way through each famine. WORSHIP in everything...

I recently read an article on our local news fb page about the Huge Let Down for Alzheimers suffering patients. I wanted to repost this series I did several months back about WATER. It is extrememly important that everyone understands that the water we drink even filtered if not properly maintenaced or filterd with the right filter you are still allowing lead based chemicals and other toxins in to your drinking supply. Aluminum which is the leading cause of Alzheimers today is also IN TAP WATER and some drinking water we buy today.

Recently there was a news broadcast about some bottled water we buy that really is just TAP water being bottled. Again, I remind you I posted this same findings that this program I did shared with me. Tap water carries all kinds of chemicals, micro organisims, Aluminum and more.

I had to share this song, This is burning in my spirit and has since Wed night with Chris Tomlin worshiping outside under a clear sky with a large crowd of worshippers. Listening, singing and praising really brought everything in to perspective especially when it is not the roof of a building you are looking up at trying to look in to Gods eyes. But when you are out under HIS CREATION listening to a song like this, Where you have HIS attention and your viewing through HIS creation, WOW! I could not do anything but ball and love him Wed night. Thanks to Chris Tomlin and Toby Mac for the best night out in a long time.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because... he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

Look back at v.6-7 [ Humble ] yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. [ Cast ALL ] your anxiety on him because He cares for you.

[-] No matter what today holds for all of us, What trials come our way, it is important that we place ALL into the Fathers hands. Sing praise to Him and be Rejoiceful, placing our hope and trust in Him. - NOT allowing our circumstance[s] to consume us, NOT allowing self to control us. ALLOWING His spirit to Speak and Guide us along the way.

There is so much happening today around us that draws us in to our surroundings knowingly and unknowingly. We become tired, overwhelmed, pick up the burdens, rush around like a chicken with its head chopped off, that we forget to sit just a moment with our Heavenly Father, waiting on Him or just asking for His guidance or direction. We lose sight of the bigger picture that He has been trying to show us all along. We may even be a little ungreatful for ALL He has Given to us or brought us through.

We begin to struggle with anything or everyone and wonder why are we being punished or what did we do wrong, when really it is not a punishment at all, it may be just a simple test or attack to grow us and make us stronger.

Looking at v.5 [This relates to all of us] Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

We must learn to be in submission to Gods spirit, and the leaders He has placed above us, [wrong or right, older or younger]. It is in that submission that we learn all that God desires for us to learn and help us to grow..

"Learning to place "SELF" to the side and letting "SELF" have "NO POWER of AUTHORITY" over us and our decisons."

That does not necessarily mean we have to support or stand with all that these leaders door say, nor does it mean we have to agree with them. [ However ], for such a time we may be called to be silenced in our speaking about certain one[s] or thing[s]. We may be called to be protective of that person or that thing that we are learning to be in submission for, or maybe we should try to find some good in that person or thing they are trying to accomplish.

- Be it PRESIDENT, BOSS, PASTOR, FAMILY ELDER or ANY ELDER for that matter, BUSINESS CONSULTANT, etc.. Submission is submission!

"God has much for us to learn to be in UNITY with HIS SPIRIT and ALL HE IS GOING TO ACCOMPLISH"...

IF we are doing something we think is of God but it IS NOT of God, It will blow up in our face or bottom out. We wont be successful in all we are trying to do. "God wants HIS church, HIS people in UNITY with HIM! It is important that we seek after HIM and get on the same page as HIM!"

What a joke, I have never laughed so hard before in my life. Friendship is not bought by a $ price. It is worked hard for, earned and bought with a price of hardships and growing together as friends should. Enduring the good times and bad times. A true friend never leaves you left in the dark alone. They stick by you through the good ...times and the bad times.

Then lend their ears to hear and share, lend a shoulder for you to cry on. You can count on them to be truthful to you and never deliberately hurt or betray you. Rent a friend, bahjahahahahahaha, I dont think so....

A young man had been to Wednesday Night Bible Study. T he Pastor had shared about listening to God and obeying the Lord's voice . The young man couldn't help but wonder, 'Does God still speak to people?'

After service, he went out with some friends for coffee and pie and they discussed the message.
Several different ones talked about how God had led them in different ways. It was about ten o'clock when the young man started driving home. Sitting in his car, he just began to pray, 'God...If you still speak to people, speak to me. I will listen. I will do my best to obey.'

As he drove down the main street of his town, he had the strangest thought to stop and buy a gallon of milk. He shook his head and said out loud, 'God is that you?' He didn't get a reply and started on toward home. But again, the thought, buy a gallon of milk. The young man thought about Samuel and how he didn't recognize the voice of God, and how little Samuel ran to Eli.

'Okay, God, in case that is you, I will buy the milk.' It didn't seem like too hard a test of obedience. He could always use the milk. He stopped and purchased the gallon of milk and started off toward home.
As he passed Seventh Street , he again felt the urge, 'Turn Down that street.' This is crazy he thought, and drove on past the intersection. Again, he felt that he should turn down Seventh Street ...
At the next intersection, he turned back and headed down Seventh. Half jokingly, he said out loud,
'Okay, God, I will.'

He drove several blocks, when suddenly, he felt like he should stop He pulled over to the curb and looked around. He was in a semi- commercial area of town. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst of neighborhoods either. The businesses were closed and most of the houses looked dark like the people were already in bed. Again, he sensed something, 'Go and give the milk to the people in the house across the street.' The young man looked at the house. It was dark and it looked like the people were either gone or they were already asleep. He started to open the door and then sat back in the car seat.

'Lord, this is insane. Those people are asleep and if I wake them up, they are going to be mad and I will look stupid..' Again, he felt like he should go and give the milk. Finally, he opened the door, 'Okay God, if this is you, I will go to the door and I will give them the milk If you want me to look like a crazy person, okay. I want to be obedient. I guess that will count for something, but if they don't answer right away, I am out of here.'

He walked across the street and rang the bell. He could hear some noise inside. A man's voice yelled out, 'Who is it? What do you want?' Then the door opened before the young man could get away. The man was standing there in his jeans and T-shirt.... He looked like he just got out of bed. He had a strange look on his face and he didn't seem too happy to have some stranger standing on his doorstep. 'What is it?'

The young man thrust out the gallon of milk, 'Here, I brought this to you.' The man took the milk and rushed down a hallway.. Then from down the hall came a woman carrying the milk toward the kitchen. The man was following her holding a baby. The baby was crying.. The man had tears streaming down his face.

The man began speaking and half crying, 'We were just praying .. We had some big bills this month and we ran out of money. We didn't have any milk for our baby. I was just praying and asking God to show me how to get some milk.' His wife in the kitchen yelled out, 'I ask him to send an Angel with some.. Are you an Angel?' The young man reached into his wallet and pulled out all the money he had on him and put in the man's hand. He turned and walked back toward his car and the tears were streaming down his face.

He knew that God still answers prayers. Sometimes it's the simplest things that God asks us to do that cause us, if we are obedient to what He's asking, to be able to hear His voice more clear than ever. Please listen, and obey! It will bless you (and the world).

Phil 4:12-13 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Fit Mommy Friday

Well, its been a hard week and half now. "SUMMER SICKENESS STINKS" My little ones have been down sick and now I am. So easy post, little said or done. :( I feel like a crummy mess and family just arrived from out of town. BLAH!

Eating little that justifies what I should be eating. Drinking is up but it involves drinking a few extra sodas then usual. NOT GOOD. Honestly it has been a terrible week. I have been so exhausted that I just grabbed anything for an energy boost even if it was soda or caffiene. :( Not a good week. I hope next week to get back on schedule this is not helping me to my new goal for our trip date. :(

O well, I can say I stared at my fitness video, ball, and weights but that did me no good as for the workout. Lol. Blah. Praying I feel better next week to get up and hit the street for some extra needed jogging time... I feel great when I get a jog/walk in. Providing the heat is gone, been really bad this week which adds to the way I feel. ACK...
