"A Moment of Truth" - Part 1

I have to say, I seldom share my frustrations on my blog. I felt today would be appropriate to share one of my frustrations out of something I have been seeing alot lately and around me.

As we walk this walk of life, we meet many believers and unbelievers. I have to say I have a strong tolerence to much for the most part. But here lately I really believe our father may be trying to break this tolerence down. Why? (For his Purpose of course, to teach me to lean more on him so that I can help teach others his truths and see all from his eyes and not the worlds) I need to state before I go any further, by no means do I remark this post to be judgemental towards anyone, so please do not mistake my post. I come from a family of many and not everyone in my family is saved. I have Catholics and Pennycostal/Assembly of God in my family, many different views that I respect and hear. That is not the problem. However, my problem is when one professes the name of Christ and then turns to jump over the line to the other side to please another.

To me, Christ is my savior and I am not ashamed to say he is my Lord. I will stand my ground and stand up for what I believe in and for God's Word & Truths. Everything I am is in Christ! I live, breathe, eat, sleep and drink Christ. If you are not happy about the the way I live, The Truths I speak, I am trully sorry for you and all you miss out on. I will not change my ways or my life to please any other. (political and non political)

I say this only because recently, I have been hearing alot about the tests of Christians and Christian faith. Many proclaim they are christians, but to walk the TRUE Walk of a Christian, honestly, many are not. There have been reports, articles and even people around me I have noticed lately that have been talking about the "TRUE CHRISTIAN".

May I ask you, What is a TRUE CHRISTIAN to you? If we look Christian up in the dictionary the definition reads :-: "a person who believes in Jesus Christ, pertaining to, believing in, or belonging to the religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, a person who exemplifies in his or her life the teachings of Christ: He died like a true Christian."

~ If we look up the word exemplifies - it reads: "to show or illustrate by example" ~

I fervently believe a true christian, is a person who lives in the image of Christ. Our job is to represent Gods word, Truth, Christs love and judgement. Our job is not to be the JUDGER to anyone or anything. However, we should help educate others on the Law of God, wrongs & rights of and in life in a lovingly manner. Always be forgiving! Now I absolutely have NO TOLERENCE for anyone who wants to proclaim Christ but jump over the line because they are trying to please another for fear of what they may say about their life as a Christian. PHONY Christians absolutely a NO. I will love you, but I have no tolerence for people who live life acting out of fear of others or what may be said.

I also have no tolerence for Overly Religious People who walk around telling people what God's Purpose for their life is as if God only speaks to them. I am sorry but I dont know what Gods purpose for everyones life is other then to serve and love him. Heck, I am still searching my own life on what God wants me to do now since he pulled me out of the ministry field for a time. People serve God in many different areas and different ways in different times and places.

I acknowledge that God speaks through others but he does not tell them, Hey you go tell so and so I want them to do this and this and that and do it now! Uhm! Hello!~ Nope! He uses others to speak words of wisdom and encouragement with love to help guide us to the right path that HE wants us to go down. It is our job to listen to him, to pray for and use a discerning spirit. HE WILL speak to US personally and tell us the specifics, the Hows and Whens, When the time is right!

It annoys me to NO end that certain people think they are the only ones who hear the voice of OUR Father. It saddens me that people are nieve enough to fall prey to these individuals thus allowing certain control over their life that was never intended at all from our father.

Today, too many christians are afraid to stand up in their Christian faith, to help others to know about Gods Laws, The Rights & Wrongs of Life. Leaving many to place their ways and views above the christian faith and open the door to an intimidating spirit. For many years I have known many to speak their oppinions at times but hesitate at other times when certain ones are near or because certain ones have said something. Why? I believe all that does is allow the other to believe their way is the only way and everyone should believe that way. Wrong! I believe God give us a voice for a purpose and there is a time to speak and a time to be silent. But silence only when our father says to be silent not because we are afraid of what someone else might say or think.

Join me in part 2 as I continue on this post. I respect the opinions all have and ask respect in return. I post this only because I feel today many christians are afraid to speak up for fear of loss of friendship, fear of what may be said, fear of just about anything. Christ IS NOT ashamed of you and he will always stand up for you, Why is it so hard to return the same?

Blessings All!

For me, to be a christian we should simply live it out. There is no need to try and cram our beliefs down others throats.

Yes, I agree to. That I think is what I referred as the Religiously Know it all I think I noted. Lol. Cant remember. I know alot of them. They irritate me. Sad, I know many think that is what they have to do, but no really just setting the example and leading them, showing the true love of christ and living by example. Absolutely! God bless you.
