1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. ~ Romans 12:1 - 2
I will not share much on this as this is a continuous of my most recent posts. I believe this scripture sums it all up. It is time to let go of our worldly beings, our worldly possessions and live in the image of Christ. Our individiual walk as well as within our church. So many churchs today are trying to conform to a worldly image and people pleasing image... What about Christ... Where is Christ when the world is put above him?
I urge the leaders of the church to open your eyes, open your ears and listen only to the voice of God. Stop pleasing the congregation, the people of the world, stop living in fear... Your creator is who you live for not the world, not the people. Who cares if you have people in your congregation unhappy with what the Doctrine belief is and has always been, what message you brought forth, whether you offended them by the TRUTH of God or The way he moves, or by allowing his spirit to move freely.
By allowing one or more to come against Gods Truth and our belief trying to corrupt his word and the church beliefs [the very foundation God laid down for each of us to follow] to transform it to the way of the world or the way the people want it to be - It becomes a big mistake, indeed the biggest mistake made by the church. We then will become a Man pleasing Congregation and not The Body Of Christ.. It is not about the people, it is not about the world. IT IS ALL ABOUT CHRIST!
In saying this, I am reminded of when Moses went to the mountain top to meet with God and receive the 10 Commandments. Moses gave instructions to the people and they were to follow them until he came back. Well he was gone for 40 days you could only imagine all the thoughts each one had. What happened with the people waiting down below while Moses was on the Mountain with God? One person started a rebellion and others followed, creating their own God to worship, living the way they wanted to pleasing themselves. When moses came back he was extremely disappointed with them and broke the tablet with the commandments on it.
(References Exodus Chapter 19 to Chapter 34.)
Do you see some similarity with the people of today? This has been around for decades but only here lately has it been getting worse by the moment. There IS so much Offense out there that many are now trying to conform their walk with God to the ways of the world to please others rather then allow the conviction of God to correct the lives of those not following him. Offense can be a good thing people... If it is "TRUTH from GOD" not from man then it is in a sense a correction because we get offended most second guess them self as to why or how they got offended thus leading us to re-evaluate the situation, circumstance and our emotion. Almost like a short soul search if you will.
It is my prayer to encourage all to stand up for Gods Truth, Witness about His Love, His Son. Dont be a people pleaser, I urge the church not to be a people pleaser, Become the Leader that God has created each of us to be and shine the light in a dark world. There will be more in depth related to this topic coming. I will ask that each of you keep me in prayer as I continue to search for direction on the post coming soon. Thanks everyone! God bless!

What happened with moses is still happening in today's church and the pastor only has time to glance away or turn his back...quickly they are fighting over the color of the carpet or something stupid instead of worrying about the lost people outside the building or the hungry children around the corner.
Blessings, andrea
Amen to that! So sad how some can quickly get their minds off of Christ and on to the worldly image and do things to please the world. Praying that many open there eyes.
You wont wanna miss the upcoming post! Blessings!
