Today's Thoughts

Go therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. - Matthew 28:19

I am guilty of getting my eyes off the prize or the vision the father has for me. I have been discouraged many times, what person has not faced these struggles and trials of life. It is so important for a grounding in Gods word and a spiritual growth in Christ. I tell you if we would just be obedient to his words, walk out in faith and expectation, we would see him working on behalf of our circumstances and or the lives of others. In today's world we face many obstacles and emotions. Amongst these things we face a chance of: persecution, rejection, abandonment, offense and etc. Offense seems to be a major defense in today's times. Everywhere we turn there is one offended at this or that. Thus making spreading the word of Christ more difficult for most.

If I had a penny for every offense today, I would be a millionare! Wow, that is one way to get rich quick. Lol! We must remember Christ was persecuted and hated before us. We can make a difference by planting the seed even if it means another must come to water it. With that being said, God is calling his children everywhere to fulfill his purposes. Duties that which he has given to each of his children. We all have different jobs and to this each one does a job different then the other. Many neglect their jobs for lots of reasons.

Lack of intrest, Unknowing of the job description, Little understanding, Fear of completing the job because of others, Intimidation. I can go on with excuses. Yes, excuses! If we really wanted to do the job and do it right we would spend more time in the word, more time in prayer asking for direction, asking for his help, more time researching what needs to be researched, more time walking out in boldness and FAITH. Auh, Faith!!!

Faith is the biggest reason many struggle today. Whether it be obedience to God's voice, job, or just faith in God period... Without faith what do we have? To have a relationship with Christ we must have faith that he is who he says he is. Faith he exhists! Look truthfully, our walk with Christ is a relationship of many wonders and much growing. What is a relationship with out growth? ( I think we all know the answer to this one )

Let me share with you a secret that I am sure at somepoint each of us has felt like my secret. ( Be truthful, come on) When I was a new christian and learning about God, I guess I always thought that learning and growing would somehow be different or maybe a little easier. I mean come on, truthfully I knew that walking with Christ was not going to be a ball of wax, but in my own little world I was thinking that there would not be levels of growing. Am I making sense? Growing to me was just ok we are growing this will be interesting. Never in my mind did I imagine that there were going to be levels of growing and painful at that. Levels in similar to same situations of previous growing. What am I getting at?

Faith! When you become a christian, you have faith right. But how much faith do you really have? As I grew in my walk with Christ I begin realizing that we are babes in Christ when we get saved. Babes eventually grow up right? Just like in our world of birthing our children and raising them. We birth them, they are babies, grow to toddlers running around for few years and eventually the grow up to pre-teens and teenagers and finally adults, Right! That is just the same with our relationship in Christ. When get saved our faith is only so much. We must grow our faith as we grow in Christ. Today, I believe that our father wants us all to be have "TRUE FAITH".

TRUE FAITH, honestly means get ready for some major faith storming. OH BOY! I outta know since this is recently a level of growth in my relationship. Wow, it was and still is amazing. But wow, long long time in growing and finally wrapping up. So what does all of this have to do with teaching & spreading the Gospel & having faith. ( I know I love to talk )

God is calling his people to work, work, work, like we have not seen before. This is not just a call, it is a URGENT CALL! Time is running short and I believe that he has so much he wants us all to learn and teach to the rest of his children. In today's world we can not afford to let offense, intimidation, fear of man and other things and or emotions get in the way. We must keep our eyes fixed and focused on God and his visions. His plans are best and if we obey his call all things will come together in his time and by his will.

We are living in a dark world and our light is our Lord. It is important to stay in his word and listen to his voice. We will not be able to hear him if our eyes are fixed on worldly things. If we allow intimidation to shove us back in to the corner the enemy has a foothold in our life and our duties to Christ. We must be strong in Christ and over come the lies from the enemies and help shine the light in to this dark world.

Encouraging Note: Be strong in Christ, never give up on him he will never give up on you. If you are struggling, seek, seek, seek until you get the answer, read, read, read his word and pray, pray, pray. Ask for prayer you dont need to say what to pray for, allow his spirit to lead those you have asked to pray for you. Let no intimidation from any man bring you down or place fear in you. People will come and go (friends including). We are here to spread Gods word, show his love and shine his light in a dark world. Struggling is a part of your growth and if we keep on pressing on the greatest prize ever will be ours.

I would be happy to form a blogger prayer chain for those needing prayer. Stand up and fight a good fight because I guarantee it's a great win.

God Bless you all!
