With the Christmas holiday [celebration of Christs birth] drawing near, it is important for each of us to shine the love of Christ to everyone we meet. Now like anytime is the time to share and witness the love of Christ. What is so sad- is that many at this time of year will be bitter towards this holiday. Have you noticed that over the years there are more and more people saying these very words: - "I wish Christmas would hurry up and be over,- I wish we could just get through the holiday and get on with our life, - I wish we were already done with this holiday," so many other things similar to these are said. It really makes me sad!
Jesus is the REASON for the SEASON! It is all about Jesus. So often with todays rushed schedule we are hurrying through the holidays or in a hurry to do this or do that or get here and there. Why are we in a hurry. I have said this many of times and I stand by it; To many people are in a hurry to get No Where, To many people are in a hurry to meet the maker of this world. To many people are in a hurry to enjoy the moment and the very beings or gifts around them to enjoy what has been given to them. Its no wonder so many have less hope and less faith to hold on to what they have in front of them. With no time to take in what has been placed before them, to soak up and understand the things around them- there really is no time to be thankful in this life until we learn to S-L-O-W down and pace our self to be greatful and thankful for all we have and all of those placed around us.
So many wont find out how important it is to slow down and be thankful, to soak up the gifts that have been in front of us this whole time while we were to busy to even notice they were there. Gifts like: Christ, Life, Friends, Families, Shelter, Food, Clothing, Jobs, Fresh Air and a hope for Tomorrow.
"He calls out to each of us, Urging us to answer.. Asking us to help him spread the word, to help others, to share a message of hope in the life of the lost and discouraged." Will we answer his call? Can you hear him calling?
We never really know what we have until we get down to nothing or until it really is too late.
Friends and Family could pass on when we least expect it. We may pass on before we could even share to those we love how much we love them and how greatful we have been to have them as a part of our life. We may lose the very thing we have shown no grattitude for.
This is my chance to pass on the word from the Lord;
Celebrate each day as if it were your last day here. Share with those you love how much you love them and how greatful you are to have them. Be loving and forgiving to everyone, even those who are less fortunate then you. Give with a giving heart, Love with a loving heart. Lead just as Christ leads you.
This Christmas as it is every Christmas, is a special Christmas, because it is a chance again to show Christ how much we love him and how greatful we are to have him and to have the greatest gift of all,- Him in our life and Eternal life with him. - I am ever so greatful that he chose us to live with him.
We have the opportunity to chose him and eternal life with him or live our life by our desires. Many have no idea that we have this choice - so the greatest gift I believe we could give Christ is a chance to share with others abot Christ and the sacrifice he made for each of us so that we may live for ever with him in paradise.
Time is nearing its end. As we see today, time merely flies by faster and faster each day. There are many scriptures in the bible talking about time. Time is of the essence and so important that we do not waste.
12 years ago this Christmas Eve, my brother was killed in a car accident. I lived in the world and for the world. The Lord prepared him ahead of time, he knew his time was nearing the end. I couldnt beleive it, I didnt want to hear it, I doubted everyone who was with him up to the end. I could not deny truth that was there before me. God used my brother to witness about Gods mercy, God love, life with Christ, life its self. He went to the parties all of his friends had while they thought it was a crack party or bong party he was witnessing about Christ and he told many of them his time was nearing the end, hold on to the very words he was speaking to them, He loved them and he wanted them to remember him for the love he gave them and shared with them.
I see many of them off and on today and every one of them always reflect back to the final words they had with my brother - How he loved them, How Jesus died for them, Jesus loved them and how he forgave sins we just needed to ask and ask for his help and Jesus would be there to help. Today some have converted their life to live it for Christ. Others are still trying to find their way but in time God will draw them in his perfect time.
God has a plan for each of us. [Jermiah 29: 11-14 ] God has timing the perfect timing for each of us. Until then we must use our time wisely and be ever so greatful for this time and those placed within.
This Christmas I encourage each of us to share more everything, more then we have ever before. Dont be rushed through the holiday season. Take a moment to sit back, relax, soak up and enjoy this holiday season and what the real meaning of this season is about. Dont be in a hurry to get through another season. Too many people today are in a hurry to pass the real truth of the holiday season. They will never have an understanding because they are not willing to sit and soak up any truth, they will never have answers to the questions they hold within because they will not take the time to sit and soak up the answers that have been laying in front of them for some time now..
Time is nearing the end! For many believers we all know that time is so close and soon the coming of Christ will be near. Dont let precious time slip away, dont ignore the chances we have in front of us to share the love of Christ.
[ Matthew 24: 1 -51 ]
If it means we have to walk over and hug the bitter old lady who hates everyone that sits in pew across from us, even if means going over to your bitter relative that you shared a disagreement with days before.
Christ is the first best gift we could give anyone and Love is the second best gift we can give anyone. Many are unaware of Christ and the gift he gave to the world and many have never felt what True Love is. Christs love melts away any bitter, hurt, abandoned, rejected moment and replaces each with a soft warm feeling of love within.
This is our chance to give and I encourage each of us to take it and use our time wisely.
Blessings to each of you!
Have a safe and Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
God Loves you and so do we!
