The B90 Daily - Day 48 - Preparing

The B90 Daily - Day 48

Boy this is a home hitter reading in Ecclesiastes. Definately chapter 3. I have had a "being prepared burden" for three years now. Listen I know you have probably heard this from me or others lots of times. But we really need to be on the same page with God. What does this mean?

Are we reading our bible daily? Are we praying daily? Where is our relationship at in Christ? - Is it a one way relationship or two way?

We need to be ready and prepared for when He makes His call to us. When He calls us - It will be time to go - where ever He is calling us to. Could be the call to Heaven and we do not want to miss that call!

Right now in my life alone there are things He has me in check with. What about you? Are you second checking things in your life to ensure you are right there with God?

As we continue on in this journey of the bible challenge, I want to encourage you to take the time to do a serious soul search. Make sure everday trials have not captured your attention or taking complete focus off of our Lord. Now is the time to make things right and get things straight with God.

Be it our daily struggle in finances, relationships, careers. What ever has captured your attention - NOW is the time to get things in line and lined up with God.

If you are still continuing this journey - even if you are staggering behind but pressing on - It is because you have been called from the Lord so that you will be prepared for what He is getting ready to do.

He wants us prepared so that we may be able to help get others ready for what lay ahead. He Is equippingm molding and growing each of us right now for HIS reasoning. So what ever you may be going through right now, If you are struggling or discouraged, I want to encourage you to HOLD on to Christ. He is there in midst of the storm with you and HE will HELP you through. WE are NEVER alone in our Trials, Because CHRIST is there beside us every step of the way.

Proverbs 3: 5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

[ Psalm 121 ] I lift up my eyes to the hills— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Be encouraged for what God is doing and going to do in you and through you. You will be amazed at What He Is Doing Right Now and Planning for ahead!

Remember to Put on the Full Armor of God Daily, Pray and Listen for His Voice.

Blessings Everyone!

Pages 564-576 (Ecclesiastes 3 - Song of Songs)

Something to ponder
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What does Ecclessiastes 3:1-8 suggest to you about being prepared for life?
Key verse
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Reminder
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As we read through the Bible, emotions like anger or frustration may surface. That's OK. Just keep reading. As you continue through, some questions will be answered, and new questions will arise. Never forget that -- through this experience -- you are growing in many ways, some of which will NEVER be made known to you.
Encouragement
"Education is useless without the Bible."
Daniel Webster
