Why? Over the last six months we have seen or heard about the coming changes with our food products and other supplying products. What have we heard? Reports about these products coming in smaller packages for more cost. You heard me, "More Cost!" Recently, I have noticed that our shampoo was missing again for the second time in the shampoo aisle. What did it mean the first time, Discontinued. Anytime a product is missing, reading temporary out of stock for a while or carries a D on the tag it always means Disco. How do I know this, Well, I used to work in retail. I am always paying attention to the tags not just for price. I want to know about the item, ensure it is the correct item where the tag is and of course the dollar amount for the oz.
These tags are there for a purpose and I recommend you learn how to read them, so you know you are getting the right product and your moneys worth. [More on that later at request] However, recently I kept looking for my shampoo, Thankfully I had a small supply for my little stock ups at home. Yes, I buy a few extra at a time with a large family, I am always about supply and savings. What did I find out recently with my shampoo. Well it was not discontinued, it was temporarily out of stock due to a minor package/bottle change.
MINOR my hiney! The bottle is twice as skinny and twice as smaller then what I used to purchase. I purchased the smallest bottle of the shampoo already at $2.00. Now the bottle is smaller and more money, to be exact it is $4.48 a difference of $2.48. HELLO! What kind of an idiot do you take me for?
Not only did I see my shampoo change and price hike, I noticed a few other bottles changed. TWO stayed at the same oz [12 oz] but their prices had also hiked up a whopping $2.00-$3.00 from the normal price of $2.00, which was the cheapest for the smallest size bottle now the smallest size bottle is all they are offering for the largest sized bottle price. IF you are not paying attention you will fall victim to their deception as they weave it in.
NO they will not change everything over at once! Why would they do that? If they did that they wouldnt be successful at leuring you in to the bait. So they will weave it in so that you dont even notice the change and you will keep buying. This is where it is time for us to get smarter then them and PAY CLOSE ATTENTION!
If you are a penny pincher like me you will not want to miss this information. If you dont care about blowing your money will this is where you will fall prey!
Please pass this along and help everyone to know it is now starting the change over and GREEDY is not the understatement in fact it was not exagerrated enough! Greedy, Greedy, People in business today.. So sad because we will see the collapse of this recent economy repeat all over again!
