This is deeply disturbing to see any church like this allowing such a thing in the congregation. I am deeply disturbed at this Southern Indiana Apostolic Church allowing such an act of ungodliness. On their home website page they made this comment: "The Pastor and members of Apostolic Truth Tabernacle do not condone, teach, or practice hate of any person for any reason. We believe and hope that every person can find true Bible salvation and the mercy and grace of God in their lives. We are a strong advocate of the family unit according to the teachings and precepts found in the Holy Bible. We believe the Holy Bible is the Divinely-inspired Word of God and we will continue to uphold and preach that which is found in scripture."
I am truly sorry but I do believe this contradicts the word of God as well as what they say they believe. I have the same bible. I am not apostolic, I am a word of faith denomination. I am proud of what my bible says. Yes, I do know and believe the bible calls homosexuality sin. BUT... I do know that my bible also says, We are NOT to judge the sinner or we to shall be judged. God is the judgement. We are to hate the sin and love the sinner. How can we be a reflection of Christ when we can not love with His love. ( 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 )
If anyone says, "I love God," but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar; for if we don't love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we have not seen? --1 John 4:20

How can we say that we are christians following after Gods word, When we are not doing as the Word commands us to do. I am sorry, but this, this is uncalled for. I do not support support Homosexuality. That IS SIN! But it is not my right nor is it my choice to judge an other human being for their sin. I choose to follow and live my best by Gods word and shine the light and love of Christ to those who are willing to receive and see it. I am not proud of the world we live in to day. It is shameful and disgracing. I do believe that in the last days, It WILL be the church that persecutes and condemns Gods People. Honestly, It is no wonder people will not come in to the church. Why go in to a place the offers the same thing the world gives to them every day?! If they can not come to Christ and get the help they need, the answers they seek and the love they are hungry for. I encourage you to learn from this mistake this church made. Read your word, all of it. Do not preach part of it, preach all of it. Live by all of Gods word, not by the part you choose to accept.
