Day 3 - B90 Challenge Encourager

Day 3 of our challenge, I pray all are holding up well. I continue to remind us all to keep a journal during the course of this journey. I believe our Father will be speaking to each of us at different times. Also if you have any dreams or words you feel led to leave here on the blog or just feel you need to write down. This is what the journal is for. Looking back to all that you have learned once you have completed this journey and reading all you have wrote down will be encouraging later on.

God Bless you all and remember to put on the Full Armor God today.

Ephesians 6: 10-18 10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

1 Thessalonians 5:8 8But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

Something to ponder
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What mistakes of his parents did Jacob repeat? (Gen 25-35, 37:14)
Key verse
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. Gen 32:24

Reminder
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Try reading at different times of the day and night to see what works best for you. Some people split their reading into two or three sittings.
Encouragement
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I was TOTALLY blown away by the enthusiasm of our small group (25 people) who have taken the challenge of reading the Bible from cover to cover in 90 days.

"Personally, I have read the Bible through several times. BUT, I find myself waking up earlier than the alarm to read. I have stopped watching the news at 10pm and read the Bible instead. I have been a Christian for over 40 years and have never been more excited to read the Bible than I am today."

Resources + Community
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our ministry's mission is to (1) encourage people to read the entire Bible and (2) to provide exceptional resources to help them do so. Our curriculum and resources have proven themselves uniquely capable of helping people read the Bible from cover to cover in 90 days. Of course, you are NOT required to use these tools, but we STRONGLY encourage you to do so. While SOME people succeed using their own Bible and plan, THE MAJORITY succeeds when using The Bible in 90 Days curriculum and resources.
Finally, for best results, we STRONGLY encourage you to get your church, neighborhood, corporate Bible study or other community to participate together: each person reads on his/her own, but gathers weekly in community for accountability, fellowship, small group discussion, video lessons and encouragement. You can find out more at www.biblein90days.org.
Please know that our ministry is here to support you throughout.
Blessings,
