Finding Truth & An Attack on Word of Faith

[ Blog Disclosure: Please know that in this post, I am going to be pretty up front and speak fairly honest to the point, it may offend someone. I do not anticipate deliberately hurting or offending anyone by this post when putting the truth out here. In doing this post, I want to clarify this: This post is not to push any beliefs on anyone. It is merely to give honest insight and educate the un-educated. To note, everyone has their oppions and right to speak. On this blog, I am posting the truth to which I believe and hope to give insightful knowledge to others as according to the Gospel. What is that old saying? "Sometime's The Truth Hurts!"  So true if sometimes we are easily offended or angered at something said.  ]

To start the new year and getting back in routine, I felt a nudge to post on Finding Truth and The attack on the Word of Faith belief or as others would put it, the so called trend.   But first I want to cover a few things.

Yes, there are several trends rising up within the church today that are a threat to our churches and religion in general. What an attack on the Christianity? However, Word of Faith is not one of these threats. I don't see how anyone can say that it is unless they are truthfully blind and blind to Gods word.. By blind I mean, there is a religious spiritual covering over their eyes or It is a religious attack from one religion against the other. This is evident today as Radicals every where attack believer's of Christianity.  

1. Radical Islam is a threat and one of the biggest threats attacking Christianity and our churches today. Hence the new religion on the climb of, Chrislam. Chrislam removes the foundation of Christ and much of Gods word, replacing it with more of the Isalmaic beliefs. Listen, in all honestly I am just going to say this, If Radical Islam was a peaceful religion as many boasts, there would not be attacks on Christianity or would there be viscious haneous attacks on man kind to honor such a god of hate, (Allah!)

On an other note, I am going to point this out: If the Islamic believers want and demand freedom to their religion from all of us around the globe, they should respect our right and freedom to our religions as well. Instead of pushing theirs off on to others with the threat of take it or die.

I think we all, if we are honest agree the same thing. We all have rights to believe what ever we believe and we should all have the equal freedom in doing so with out being pressured or threatened to believe like an other.

I do know that there are Islamic faiths and believers out there, that do try to keep peace. So I do want to encourage you to not be afraid of them and certainly don't go on a defriend rampage. Understand, I am not attacking any religion or believer. What I am doing here is showing you that their is a difference of religions everywhere.  Everyone has the right to their faith.

Simply put, the God I serve is not the God of Hate. My God is the God of Love. In this Love, He offers Truth, Peace, Wisdsom, Discernment, Happieness and so much more through HIS LOVE, that is offered through HIS WORD. And He LOVEs EVERYONE! Just like most parents who DO raise their children, teaching them right from wrong with love, rules and disciplinary measures. My Heavely Father does the same. 

2. Another threat on the church today is something called Seeker Friendly.

This trend is from the Saddleback Church and Rick Warren. (Read more on this here. )  This is where the church begins to pull away from the core foundation of doctrine and merges more towards a secular way of pleasing everyone in the church - mans way. Some churches have been known to push this trend a step further by removing any beliefs of Christ or the move of the Holy Spirit. Breaking this all down, this means Less of God, More of man.

In the 90s, the late Pastor David Wilkerson gave a warning to the Assemblies of God about the new coming gospel of accommodation. Through the Lords eyes, he seen what was rising in America and what would soon change the church and the way we believe today. This message from Pastor Wilkerson could not of been more true or said any better.

Today, the church has changed and so have the people with in her. So many have turned away from the "True Faith" because they feel let down, they truly never sought Gods Word or Him, in turn it led them to never understand the gospel. Which is why so many today have accepted this new faith. Then you have the crowd of the Lost, who are absolutely New and Clueless to the Truth so they just follow searching for truth.

Sinners and Saints today of all ages run to the church for answers or safe haven and get little to nothing of what the come searching for. If you walk in to the church heavy burden and you walk out feeling the same way you did as you walked in, then you have not met the great comforter.

Brief Note:

Let me just say, God is the SAME, Yesterday, Today and Forever! He will not change! He will NEVER forsake you! If you are searching for a church to call your home, the first thing you need to be doing is: get on your knees and seek for His direction. NO one can help you but Him! I guarantee this, You are not going to be content or satisfied until you hear directly from Him.

There is such a lack of knowledge today in the church and this world, for Gods word. Truthfully, I am literally yelling this at you, my readers, as I type this:

GET IN TO THE WORD OF GOD, NOW!

I will not pardon myself, as I drive that point home to everyone. Seems like no matter how many times it is said, "Get in to the Word and read." Everyone seems to ignore it. So I felt the urge to BOLDLY Show you how important Knowing God's Word is.

What you should know in order to find Truth:

• Know Gods Word and Recieve The Knowledge He is Offering You
• Learn To LISTEN To Him and LISTEN For Him to Call Out (shut all voices out so that you can hear directly from God and not someone else)
• Learn To Have FAITH and Operate In It (This also falls in line with TRUSTing God, Learn To Trust Him)
• Diligently Seek God in Prayer
• Learn To Wait Upon Him  --  His Timing IS NOT Ours, Nor are His Ways Ours.
• Learn To Accept His Truth (even when it is convicting)
• Learn To LISTEN To Him and LISTEN For Him to Call Out (shut all voices out so that you can hear directly from God and not someone else)

Recommending:
At some point everyone should try reading the word of God from Genesis to Revelations to get a clear understanding of God and from God.. Yes, it will be tough! If its not tough, then your truly not trying. If your truly trying, It will be tough because the enemy will fight you tooth and nail to keep you from gaining Knowledge of Gods Word. In case you didn't know, God's WORD gives you Power to defeat the enemy!

Is it worth the read? YES! Not only are you learning about this insightful knowledge of God. By reading and learning about this knowledge, You have the priviledge of recieving this knowledge and how to use it, directly FROM Him. He will show you how to live your everyday life in Faith and Trust, EVEN in the hardest of times! 

For all the disbelievers out there who say: No you can not live a glorious life here in this life on earth. Its impossible because you dont get this until heaven. If this is your answer you are ignorant to Gods Word and blinded by what the enemy wants to to believe. Know prayers are going up for you to hear and recieve Gods Truth!

If God did not want you to live victoriously here on earth then explain to me this:

• Why did God create the Garden of Eden in the beginning? (Remember, in the beginning God created the Earth to be perfect. The fall of man came AFTER Adam and Eve disobeyed God)
• If we are not meant to live righteous or victoreous, Im just baffeled at why God would then give us tools and instruct us in His word on How we can live righteous and victorious through the troubles of this life? Just baffles me how one can say God said something that HE did NOT say! 
• LOOK! Simply put: God gave man Freedom of Choice. It is by choice you choose to recieve or not to recieve. 

"You can walk in the favor of the Lord through any trial , adversity, persecution and etc, that you face in your life. You are the righeousness of Christ. No matter what you are facing today, YOU CAN BE and YOU ARE:  VICTORIOUS Through Christ" 

You do not have to wait until heaven to live victoriously! You do not have to wait until heaven to live debt free! You do not have to wait until heaven to recieve your healing! 

Anyone who believes that you can not recieve from God now, in this life, IS walking in a disbelief and an envious/jealous attitude.  I recently read a post on a site where the author attacked Pastor Joel Olsteen. Listen, I personally do not listen to Pastor Joel Olsteen for my own personal reasons. Nothing bad, I just dont listen. But I can tell you this, He walks in the favor of the Lord because HE CHOSE TO RECIEVE from God. Notice the word: CHOSE!

Look, Don't get mad at Pastor Joel because he made the choice to recieve. Don't whine and cry about so and so because they chose to recieve. You can do the same thing. It will not happen over night, but if you have Faith like a child and you are willing to TRUST God and take Him at His word. Then prove it and take a leap out there, listen to him and do like He asks. The bible says Take God at His Word (1 John 5:1-13), Test him. If God can grant us permission on testing Him with our tithes, don't you think He would grant us the permission to test His word to see if it's true? In some cases I believe He will! (Malachi 3:10) 

Whats the worst thing that could happen? Truthfully,You would end up in right back where you started before you took Him at His word.

Truthful Note:  I never fully understood God or His word by just reading different books here or there. I gained insight but I still never found what I searched for. We know stories,  passages and memorize scriptures. But do we fully understand? NO, Not always. When  you read the bible from Genesis to Revelations, I guarantee you, you will be in awe of this Love God has for you. You will find understanding and peace in areas you searched for. I knew the stories about Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Jonah and etc. But when you read books of the bible alone, honestly you are not getting all of what God wants you to recieve. You only gain bits and pieces of insight. Yes, we receive encouragement and knowledge. And we learn about their faith through their storms in trusting God. BUT... GOD happens, when you read the bible from cover to cover and you gain all of the insight He wants you to recieve. But it is all up to you on how you choose to use it or if you choose to recieve it. It is truly Amazing!

Its like, well, have you ever read the cover of a book to see what the book is about and then gone home to read the book from the beginning to the end and got a totally different perspective of the book? Ever heard the saying, Don't judge a book by the cover? The bible is truly amazing when you truly try and get to know who God is.


Word of faith is strictly accepting and acting upon Gods word from Genesis to Revelations. We believe ALL of Gods word, not certain parts, scriptures, chapters, books of the Bible. 

The basic doctrine on Word of Faith preached is that of salvation through Jesus Christ and what that salvation entails. It is based on Jesus’ teachings concerning the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven and the state humans can receive through the atonement and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Word of faith is of new being or creation (found in the biblical passages 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Galatians 6:15) can be received only through faith in the Word of God.
